Even though the physic alien tormenting Bardock with these future visions was awful, we got to remember that Bardock and the Saiyans aren't innocent. Sure, they were enslaved by Frieza but they still took joy in torturing and killing entire races along with selling their planets. The Saiyans were actually evil way before they even meet Frieza.

Sadly, even if all the Saiyans and all of Freiza’s soldiers turned on him and tried to take him down, even all together at once they would barely stand a fraction of a chance. Frieza could have wrecked them all in so many different ways. He's just on a whole different level. Also you should watch the the Abridged version of this movie and all the other movies. They're pretty funny!

Yeah I definitely recommend it because they’re really well done and it’ll be a good, faster way for you to watch some of the movies you might not watch the real versions of. And some of them kinda fit into the series a little bit. Abridged kinda makes its own canon.
dragon ball fights that involve 2 frieza force members fighting each other are always the funniest as there these idiots who talk whatever smack they can while acting evil to each other. vegeta and friezas dialouge in dbs is also really funny

And unlike other characters in the series who have Transformations to make them more powerful Freiza had to Transform to suppress his insane power until he Met Goku.

In his first form (what we see in this movie) Frieza is roughly 53 times stronger then Bardock. In his final form, Frieza would be around 12 THOUSAND times as powerful as Bardock. None of the Saiyans (or anyone really) was even remotely close to Frieza (not including his father). Captain Ginyu, the next strongest person next to Frieza, was 1000x weaker then Frieza. You can understand why Frieza thought he was invincible. He was literally one thousand times stronger then the next strongest person he'd ever encountered.
This is why I call the z dub trash...its not on them they just werent experienced at the time..It gets better later but its hard to watch...defiantly watch the next movie subbed plus its not fully accurate anyways Id give 65% accuracy....Also W reaction
