This song brings back so many memories of our years together unfortunately it was not meant to be. Things just didn't work out. Let me tell my story with this song. Years ago, I found it on a book. I started listening to it on a daily basis, even if it was once a day. I was addicted to David Coverdale's voice and the love vibe he was giving. Two years later, I met my ex. Somehow I knew I shouldn't dedicate this ballad to him, somehow and somewhere in my guts I knew he didn't deserve it. I wasn't wrong. He was abusive in any way, leaving me with a completely destroyed heart, a corrupted mind and lots of traumas created by a heartless monster. He repeated that abuse and executed it in all the possible ways. I left that toxic relationship in September 2021, and I didn't wanna hear about love again. Then, in October in that exact same year, something made me give love another chance (the last one). His name was Jesús. Literally, love knocked on my door. We met at my place. He was my friend's best friend. We started talking and having a good time when I leaned to him and kissed him. After that moment, we spent the weekend together. We were acting as a married couple, not knowing that love was rising between us. When he left, I started listening to this song again, and being totally identified with the lyrics. Repeating to myself the same questions and answers that the chorus has. "Is this love that I'm feeling?", "Wait, is this the love that I've been searching for, the one I dreamt my whole life?" "Am I dreaming?" "I received another text from him, I got blushed again, this must be love, it really got a hold on me". Fell head over heels for him. He also fell for me, and then, in the December 4th, 2021 he asked me out. We've been together ever since, and also we passed some crazy times and challenges that someone could have end everything in any moment (distance, bad relationship with in-laws, a third wheel falling in love with one of the couple...), but we learned from every hard time. I really wanna marry him. I can't imagine a life without him, and this song being our anthem, our main theme in our love story.
