- A day in the life of a Singaporean working at the IT/Media company, The Smart Local. Today, I followed (stalked) Fauzi for one whole day to show you guys how it's like working at Singapore's media company. His day was surely busy!

I made this video for TSL/Eatbook fans and people who are keen to live and work in Singapore. It is a fast-paced country, but your hard work is most likely payed off. Singapore is safe, people speak English and most importantly, the food is good!

As being mentioned by Fauzi that he's a workaholic, someone who is passionate about work will not really have a lot of rest in a week, they are motivated when they have things to do and feel lethargic when there's nothing, so those who aren't tuned to this lifestyle will think he's overworked but to him he's not. Yup. The Singapore version...looking forward for more videos 👍.
Of course it has that vibe. He simply copied the idea. Singapore YTbers aren't particularly creative and notoriously copy ideas and formats. TSL itself is a copy of Buzzfeed. Ghib isn't particularly guilty of it though.
The style is similar to Paolo in Tokyo’s day in the life series. Great to see a Singapore spin on it!

Thank you ghib for taking this video to us. Its amazing and interesting as we get to know how smart local company works which they are very popular in singpore. Its just like watching google company, of course they are way bigger but lots of people are very curious and interested to know about their job. Get to see more of this interesting job series. Perhaps you could film more of this type of subjects, as this will help a lot of young people whom are looking for jobs. 👍

That's no IT industry! A typical life in one is where dozens of people squeeze into one long table, hunting for whatever plugs or sockets available to charge their laptops. Depending on the dynamics of the workplace, everyone would either sit quietly with their heads down throughout the day till the sun sets ― or would be away from their seat running up and down the company.
A title with "Day in the Life of a Singaporean Working at a Modern Media Industry" would be more appropriate!😊

Good to see you collaborating with other youtubers. I guess it's a good way to intro and showcase different TH-camr to not only local but your Japanese fans too. Got a feeling that u might becoming too busy in future with all the invitations to events and u might hv to hire an assistant to film for u. Or maybe u might hv to look for an agency or set up your own once you are busy with various products endorsement. And the fact that you are well like is because u are not one of us. I mean we hv our own Chinese celeb but other races not keen. We hv malay celeb but Chinese not keen. We used to hv a gurmit Singh but he is getting old.. So u might become our new icon for all races in the English speaking community 😁

Kind of like watching "Day In A Life by Pablo from Tokyo" except it is a Singaporean version and in the style of Ghib Ojisan style! Hope to see more of these in a series (though I like to watch the other videos as well!) :)

Well... This should be for a sgporean working in a media company. This is definately not pure IT work. I watched this because it says IT industry. Try look at guys working in pure IT industry, those really work long long hours of setting up infrastructure or doing programming
10 to 11+, what a terrible working hour, I think most of them are quite well-paid otherwise who wants this kind of high intensity job?

Yup. Some similarity there.. Just browsed the Paolo videos. He's a foreigner in Japan sharing about Japanese cultures to the English speaking community. And he even married a Japanese woman. Something similar to Ghib who married to a local here 😁
