And the Singapore Police Force has further strengthened our counter-terrorism capabilities in 2017.

O levels is actually enough. Nitec here and already planned to be in the force. But, higher educations, higher rank, higher pay

Yes same for me. I think the switch shows that the security situation has chaged. The fact that frontline patrol officers are slightly better armed shows that.

Little India was due to complacency and protocol issues. They sort it out by reducing the level of clearance required to deploy officers from the SOC. This saves alot of time when activitating the SOC without going all the way to the top of command. Hence quicker respond time.
Nice to see ERT police officers dropping by a hawker centre to buy takeaway food.
this is why singapore has a low crime rate thats why our country(PH) is constantly sending personnels to observe and somewhat patent their strategy and policing.

@@acerg5658 Strengthen improves the ability to neutralise and deal with the threats but it does not guarentee a 0 happening of an incident to occur.
