    I wish we would have went to the AFC CHAMPIONSHIP but I’m at least happy we went 10-7 two years in a row with young head coach that we love

    I was really hoping Stefon Diggs was going to end up working out for us. As much as i want to ignore the age and injury aspect it isnt realistic that he is going to be explosive after this.

    I agree with the diggs take just because id rather draft a guy and bring in a vet for cheaper

    A little dramatic with the "wasting CJ rookie contract" lol

      Literally what’s happening. You get 4 years with that, 25% of a window is pretty statistically significant to not realize sooner in season we had a problem, no?

      @@SLTexans True it does help, it just requires them to make smarter investments in the future and hit on/get production out of those FA or Draft picks

    Two guys joking about a guy getting fired that got fired from their jobs is painfully ironic

    • @SLTexans
      @SLTexans  2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      There’s nothing wrong with getting fired. When I got fired from 610 it was good for me. Made me realize my shortcomings as a host. I got better because of it.
      Andy Reid? Fired before.
      Bill B? Fired before.
      Getting fired happens all the time. Sometimes it doesn’t work out.

    I think CJ feels a little responsible for hyping Diggs to come here and then having a season-ending injury and then the team not having a good season. In other words, CJ wants to support his guy and kinda cushioning the team moving on from him.

  • @mikeroberts9299
    @mikeroberts9299 3 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

    If Bobby is back I'd say bring Diggs back if it's a cheap deal. Still add someone else obviously but he knows the offense has experience with CJ so training camp isn't a big deal. Yea he's not all pro anymore but he can still help us. Unless we're bringing DHop in.

    Landry is so pessimistic man, how did we waste his rookie deal ? Made divisional first season and ran it back with a “on paper” better roster. Injuries happened, misses on OL and had a bad year. One year wasted ? Sure but we still got one more year. What Texans do this off season will be the determining factor.

    Chip Kelly will only come if he gets a HC promise in 2 years. Texans need help and some upgrades. Their 25 pick needs to be great. A WR RB or TE OL any can fit but the offense needs helps. Lets cut Kris Boyd the longer he stays the longer the cancer festers.

    This scheme of offense is old and predictable.......It's time to send it to the back room with the pro-set scheme and replace it with an NCAA style of speading the ball around that nobody knows.
    We can't win with a worn out, predictable, antique offensive scheme........Our players are not dominate enough to just overpower defenses with pure talent.

    At the start of this year you 2 were all hype, now here you are trying to clean up what you said, you can't. And now you 2 are making bad decisions, maybe you 2 should split up too. Meco should have only brought himself and left slowik to fend for himself. Listen to cj he knows what he needs. You can't be creative in the offense they run, somethings has to be in place to make it pop. Cj is good, stop making this seem like its all cj. How they not give themselves a chance when they had a great team at the beginning, its was slowing that couldn't open up the offense, not the players. Ppl knew that the starting line wasn't able to carry that offense, you need run blocking which is a plus, but ppl landry it don't matter about the schemin yes it do, you got guys that can't move. So again you can not run outta what you said, you not clean up what you said as hard as you try. Nobody was looking for the team to hobble along. Stop it.

    • @charlescolston2031
      @charlescolston2031 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      You need to stop, Cody and Landry have been falling this team since day one. Diggs is 30+ he is not a young man anymore

    • @kuruptcapone_007
      @kuruptcapone_007 3 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      @charlescolston2031 man look here I've been falling this team from day one and been a fan since the oilers days. I don't like ppl talking Shid after they made these high expectations and it didn't go by what they said now its something else. They are new to texan football, I'm old school wit it. So don't tell me what j need to stop. I have more right to defend and go wit my team more than anyone. I don't like the sideways move they make when they are wrong and trying to make what they said seen unimportant, no, you said what you said now you are trying to scapegoat, they don't run Shid on the texans, you make money talking about them, difference between true love for a team or using them to survive. You can't say one thing about my team then try to reverse what they said earlier. Get it mind your business

    • @SLTexans
      @SLTexans  3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      So I’m just supposed to keep saying what I was saying and expecting or should I, dunno, call it like I see it.
      I call it like I see it and I’m allowed to be wrong. I’m allowed to change my opinion. I’m not beholden to expectations.

    • @SLTexans
      @SLTexans  3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Man, this is so weird. So if I think the OL was going to be decent, which I did, I’m locked into that? That makes no sense!

    • @kuruptcapone_007
      @kuruptcapone_007 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @SLTexans no I never said anything about the line, or diggs coming back, or firing slow ik. In this comment I was talking about the high expectations on this team as a 2 year team getting it together, and now the high expectations you had didn't happen and now you are bashing the team. Thats all I was talking about, and how that has changed in what you guys had said originally. despite not going to a bowl they won there division wit a bad oline and limited offensely in weapons. Good year, now let's correct what the issue are and stop bashing, bad things happen, things don't always go the way we see it or think it should go. And I got ppl talking bout things I never said anything about wit diggs or the line at first. I was talking bout bashing a team cuz other ppl expectations didnt come true.
