- This is the chiller that had the shaft seal failure. As we went to startup the York Centrifugal Chiller it had a BRAM failure that lead to much more. The YK chiller had a 2430 board that we upgraded to a 3630 using 160.54-m1 Optiview control panel. Thankfully we got this water cooled chiller online. Enjoy hvac technician.

I usually take pictures of all the screens and sub-screens for checking and comparison purposes. Then order 2gb sd cards to use and save the program card for future use of or when necessary.
The blank sd card will store more 8 months of operation every 24 hrs. Largest card recommended is an 8gb card can be used as well, no bigger that an 8gb sd card. Good luck and keep up the good work. That oil pump switch gets most of us and I’m guilty of that too. It’s an easy repair.
Set to overwrite the SD card and it will erase the oldest file and you’ll never fill up the sd card.👍🏽 I’m glad your putting out these videos. Keep up the awesome job your doing!!

The 3630 is a much better board. Be careful with software revisions as the YCAM software is kicking a lot of people out of accessing the machines.
Great content, I’ve never dove this deep into a Optiview panel. Waiting for approval to replace a 3630 on a YT.
How do you know what revision you have?
The best way is to check with your local rep with panel number
I believe 3630 referred to part number.

Should have done the conversion and removed the acc board. By leaving it in place your doing a disservice.
All these NVRAM will fail, i have one of them in my CRT projector and i flashed the software inside (basically calibration settings) so if it will fail i just have to flash the original program into a new NVRAM
Do these York chillers run BAS2800 operating system? Looks very similar

that magical time clock sounds the equivalent of what was used on computer motherboards 30+ years ago (Dallas RTC, real time clock/chip). it's failure was inevitable and would happen far sooner than later, even if you left it in service untouched. borrowed time by far.
Thats exactly it, appears York would rather use this to sell boards rather than issue a service recall on said equipment with obvious bad RTC. The sticker is just covering up the dallas logo.

AT THE MOMENT OF PRESSING THE BUTTON THE IGBTS WILL MUST FLASH THE FIRST 3 LEDs AND THEN THE LAST 3 LEDs THAT ARE ON THE IGBTs

what if there is no manuals available and you have to figure it out on your own? while nobody is perfect, some of us can figure it out fast or work around issues.
the downfall on units that size, it's near impossible to work around issues and only thing worse is all the junk on the markets today and the last 12+ years, there are no easy work arounds for much of it and it takes weeks to months to get parts
