Omg 😂 you not understanding the bicycle seat was hilarious 😂 Just think after pushing out a watermelon, our lady bits deserve some extra padding on the seat. We're wider in the hips and pelvis than before children.
Oh dear! I howled laughing with you trying to understand the joke about the saddle! Things don't always go back into the specific place where they once started, yes, anotomically speaking. Younger ladies may appreciate the pressure using the narrow saddle, just riding along, legs moving up and down, feeling especially delightful. Mature ladies, whose protuberance, may no longer be perky, and instead, lay to one side, or the other, plus the general trauma expected if you try to thread a sewing needle with a gummy bear, means that bladders may sit lower, hoods are pushed back, or stretched out, tears from the gummy bear coming through, just general wear and tear, on an aging human. Whoo! Tried my best to keep it PG. 😂. So intead of a hard rubbing pressure from a narrow saddle, mature ladies may prefer a softer space to reside on for the duration of the ride. Hope this makes sense!😂😂😂
Yeah that's not my problem. I'm a 5'9" woman who had 3 vaginally deliveries. My hip bones where I sit are too far apart for any bike seat short of a cruiser, which is more like a couch on wheels.
THIS! I wouldn’t want that narrow groove right there after having two children and being my age. I’d like it to be softer. In fact my bicycle seat does have like a memory foam like seat and not a hard groove. Ow. Hard. Yikes.
Omg,,, dying your expression when you caught the shower joke, or the fact it honestly took u that long to catch it, but she was really kinda slick about it,,, lol.
It doesn't help with riding a bicycle when your pelvic bones don't knit back together after being spread apart by carrying twins either. You never sit the same again. 😂😂😂
As a Gen X, I believe Gen Alpha, which is our newer babies are growing up more like we did thank God they’re not scared to go out and get dirty and have fun and forget what the TV is
Your lucky you were raised by a gen xer. Your generation may be the last generation left with strength, morals, and ethics because we brought you up right. I’m 57 and doing a BMX bike build right now.
Even guys need a bigger seat when you are much older, that small seat won't cut it, my butt hurts on the small seat. Same thing I want a bigger seat with gel. Just saying
Re: The Bike Seat. Have you ever ridden on a modern bike seat for an adult? They tend to be hard AF. Because bike shops will treat you like everyone who rides a bike wants to compete on the Tour de France. So it's not so much women-specific as "Bike seats for adults are like sitting on bricks." Gen Xers road bikes, yes. I had two bikes, one from the '80s that had a unicorn print on it, and was made from a soft foam, and later I inherited my mom's bike from the '60s with its super comfy banana seat, which was also full of foam. Given the option of sitting on a brick or sitting on a piece of foam wrapped around a brick, I'm picking foam-wrapped brick. Bike stores for adults tend not to offer the foam wrapped bricks any more. Bricks are better for your posture so they only sell bricks.
Bike seats are typically narrow and uncomfortable for people with bigger behinds and also women. There are bigger, wider seats like the one my wife has which make it easier to ride. I didn’t know about this stuff till my wife had a few kids and we got her a bike.
The bike seats with the narrow groove cut out is so that you don't squash the nerve that runs between your legs and cause numbness. Originally made for men, to alleviate your wee wee from going numb as you ride, found out to also help women with the pelvic arch pain in the same area.
The bike joke... I'm NOT going to explain. Yeah, these jokes... work. We were teens once, and we do not want to know ALL the things younger generations get up to... especially if we're related to them. 💚
😂🤣😂, yes glad you caught it, old as time I think that, with boys🚿 Never been to a dorm room🙈, but I am not sharing my tales either🙉🙈🙊 #ravingtildawn #nightlifework 💚 I can only imagine what raising kids would be like, but I have served many all kinds of folks over the years Thanks for the 😂 ✌️🏵️💞
-For a teen boy, showers are probably just half the time. -The "girls" seat is similar to the shower joke. She is adding in the comfort part due to age and "experience."
I love her comedy! She is absolutely SPOT ON with her observations. But if you want to know what college life is like in the US, there are some movies that show it very well: Animal House, Real Genius, Revenge of the Nerds are three I can come up with off the top of my head. I don't remember if Porky's was a college movie or not, it's been so long since I've seen it. Oh, and yeah... I'm a Gen-Xer..... so I really relate to what she's saying.
Porky's was high school, and Canadian, although I doubt much of our experiences were much different, except maybe exposure to music Love all these movies❤ ,💚
I’m 54 years old I’ve never had children and I definitely like the larger comfortable seats on my bicycle…. I think it’s a lady thing. I don’t think it’s a whether you’ve had kid thing or not. They do not make the right kind of seats for girls. They’re not comfortable when you’re young either.
As a Gen X never had kid's. There was no way i was going to put up with what i did with a son. I would be just getting out of Prison about now (i got away with it about 90% of the time) don't ask im not going to incriminate myself. My saying was i'm going out. Where to. I don't know till i get there. At my fun time. Where ever it was. Even as kid's on bike's would be 20+ mile's for a good games arcade. 10P a go back then.
Dude,I forgot about the notes during school almost daily! No cells. so u gotta send a note to figure out weekend plans too! Then 5or6 friends loaded up cars & gone til curfew🤷🏻♀️the simple life!
As a Gen X, I can tell you what your parents are thinking. Where did the common sense go? How come people don’t know if their boys or girls or not that’s our real thought
womens hips spread during pregnancy to allow for the child through the birth canal. those tiny little seats hurt the inside by your bootyhole if its all pointy and stuff. plus they arent very padded.
Why do the boys always smell @ 4:00 ? Well we did live thru the grunge music era. The "nerds" and other non-athletes started picking up skateboards and most after school hangouts were outside.
In college my son rode a bike 22 miles a day to class and work. No rent for a parking space. now I am talking about a real bike not a metaphorical or euphemism.
Once a woman has a child or childern our pelvuc (sit bones) spread so that women can oush the baby/babies that causes a permanent spread in the pelvic bones the pelvic bones can also separate which causes a wider spread (sit bones).if a woman has multiple children the pelvic bones (sit bones) spead wider with each child. These bones do not ever return to their original position. As other parts in that area are permanently altered, causing women to sit, walk, and run differently than she did prechild.
This is why we older folks have such a poor opinion of younger generations. I shouldn't feel the need to have the "Birds & Bees" talk with a grown-ass man, but here we are. Contrary to modern convention, boys and girls are not interchangeable.
Hi I'm new to your channel, and all you here about GEN X is 100% true. The story about playing dodge ball is one I can relate to, I was in third grade year was 1977. This asshole kid Kenny Sibley targeted me cocked his arm back and slammed me right in my eye, and the ball was half flat. Teacher told me "he didn't hit you that hard, stop crying, well I kept seeing this dark spot in my eye, when home and my mom said there was something in my eye. Went to eye doc and a piece of rust was imbedded in my eye, had to have it scraped off with a scalpel and had a scar.for about 7+ years. Got other stories if u want to read more just ask
Best thing of growing up GenX is that there is absolutely no proof of the things we got away with all over the internet.
I’m a xennial and I’ve NEVER liked being In front of a camera. I see someone hold up a phone to record or snap a pic now a days and I practically run!
Amen! I love that “my life” wasn’t recorded. 😉🤘🏻
If cameras would've been allowed at the club in late 90s, we'd be hit 😎 #GenX
We knew not to take pictures too. Today, people post pics non-stop, even of their meals. It's weird. Not everything needs to be recorded.

@@genevievenoble8120I had a C-section (emergency) but it still changed the way my pelvis bones were when I sit. A lot like what you described.

Hunch punch. That’s a blast from the past. I have seen a lived in college dorm. Don’t go for your own peace of mind.

I'm Gen x and I seemingly take a long time in the shower people say I could easily take up an hour.
One of the BEST things about being a Generation X-er is that NOTHING I did was caught on camera...lmfao. And I did A LOT!! Bahahahaha
😂
What no photos?
U definitely got the shower joke correctly.

Didnt understand the shower joke. I have no boys, lol.
Seriously? Very private place….nice and warm and wet….use your imagination just a little
The bike seat for a woman if you had 3kids your fanny looks like a 2man canoe
I grew up w/2 younger brothers. Six years & nine years younger. So unfortunately I get it...ewww 🤢😣
If you were a cyclist you would know about the split seats… 🤔
What you should get from this..... is how to understand a lady you make your wife and has your children
