Sure love the moon painting, the reflection on the water too, so still and peaceful, strange to think that is the moon I watch in Canada, it shines right into my patio windows so large and gradually goes smaller as it moves.
The colours in that study painting are just lovely. Thank you for this video .

Oh my goodness, what a beautiful spot. I really had a laugh, watching emu or ostrich running my brother had a bunch of them in British Columbia a few years ago. I got too close and one ripped my earring off.! My goodness they smell very bad.

I like the "pre warm" and then moving some coals for the bread bake. My dutch oven sits just inside a steel pipe that's 15 inches across and 3/8 inch thick then 18 inches high over a "rocket stove" setup on four inch concrete blocks with a five inch channel underneath. A thin stainless lid. It fits right in there with brass handles overlapping the edges. Great for stew but bread would be a challenge. Pulling the whole thing out on a separate bed of coals is a very excellent idea. Thank you. Again ‼

There seems to be a lot of water in the river bed. - I love all of the paintings you showed, the colors look wonderful, red (min 38:48) is THE eye catcher, but also the mirror-like surface (min 31:41) you accomplished is absolutely stunning. sometimes , Cooking is a Great Arts that I believe , food is much more important than the Canvas , Vincent can eat the Color , he must believe that Color is the Best Food on your Canvas , that's why He can be the Greatest Artist in the World .

ChatGPT gave me randomly name Richard Musgrave Evans, born 1872 in London, England. And he migrated with his family to Australia in 1887, at the age of 15. He became an Australian landscape painter. His style was described as impressionistic. He studied at the National Gallery of Victoria Art School in Melbourne. He participated in numerous exhibitions, including the Royal Art Society of New South Wales, the Queensland Art Society, and the Australian Art Association and became a respected figure in the Australian art community. He did coastal scenes as well. Was he your grandfather or great-grandfather? It's fascinating, because I couldn't find anything about him using Google. Google search gave me nothing. And also, I've never seen his art and his picture. Is it possible that he was your grandfather or great-grandfather? Thank you so much!

Greetings from the West coast of Scotland Richard. I haven't done any painting for some years but you are inspiring me to take it up again, and try the palette knife which I haven't done before. Really nice to hear all the birds another great passion of mine, ( I could only identify the Kookaburra's ) Is that a slow-moving river or a very large water hole? looks quite dirty water, are there croc's? Interestingly Scotland seems to be full of Aussies this year, I have lots coming to stay at my BnB all summer. keep up the good work and thanks for sharing. Regards S

when you first set up your pallet you place piles of paint. When you are done with the painting what do you do with all the leftover paint?
