Disscovered Shingo in 2017 on a trip to Thailand. Never looked back since. Back then it felt like I was part of a secret club no one knew about. Now hes more popular but his music is what i thump to on my way to and from work. If anyone could hear in, they would be surprised i was bumping to this, considering the job I have. 😂😂
I simply love this guy. His music carryed me through so many nights of learning, chilling and dacning at late night festival camps, sunset mixes at the beach and car rides. Thanks for that my man, your music has become part of my life in the past 10 years.

This set has a great vibe. What I also like is the relax sitting and enjoying the tracks as they are. A lot of DJ's I see in all those video's are SO busy with turning the knobs and all that shit which seems somewhat useless or is more "for the show". Not with this guy, only when the transition is going from one track to the other there is some fading and stuff and that's mostly it. It's what I always would expect to see. It's not that you just have to tweak EVERY second the amount of bass or what ever.
i think a lot of nervous DJs overthink it, then go into doom spirals of controlling everything. like "oh no I cant stand here doing nothing".. just have to remember why you got into DJing, because you love listening to good music.
DJs will often touch (or tweak.. as in rotate it just off-centre so you can feel it sorta click back in to the neutral position when you turn it back) the pots/knobs to ensure they're in the correct position. its sorta like DJ-specific OCD. you can see the same with old mate in the video constantly ensuring the channel upfaders are at the right levels
