My absolute favorite ride 😭😭 Last time I was at this park was in 2012, I returned from NZ to come back to these rides only to find out a majority had been discontinued or closed. Broke my heart. I dream to feel the adrenaline I felt on most of these rides again. One can only simply dream, of course. RIP TOT, RIP Dreamworld overall

That ride is so bloody loud you can here it from the car park- it kills my ears!! And they extended the tunnel which makes it worse!!! Great footage though haha :)

I remember when the lights weren’t on.... and it was like being fired out of someone’s asshole... Oh and you go way higher than the video makes it seem. The tower you go up is 126 metres or something you go 115 or something. The cart your in ways 6 tonnes and is pure steel and mechanical parts. One of the greatest rides I’ve ever been on, and I’ve gotten to ride both versions, backwards and forwards, and in rapid succession. Truly a great ride.
The Dreamworld Tower is 119 metres tall, with the original Tower of Terror probably climbing up to 115 metres... The Giant Drop drops your from 115 metres so it’ll be the same with TOT

You know, I don't understand why the Reverse Freefall Coaster in the Roller Coaster Tycoon games doesn't have backward-facing cars, considering that the real life version of that ride had backward-facing car.

Omg I went on this at 11. BEST DECISION EVER! IT WAS AWESOME and actually not to bad it’s really loud though and fast and my stomach tickles when you go down but FUN!
Watching this makes me sad that I never went on it. How dare my parents not force my then anxious ass on a seat, knowing that I well learn roller coasters and thrill rides and regret not going on later!!

when I hopped on they did it different they turn of the flashing lights counted it back to three, then stoped for 5 seconds thinking it was broken. so I was about to say oh no its broken, and then they pushed that button to realise us to go and I was like what the freak.

Nathan Cruz I’ve only experienced it as Escape from Krypton, but I have seen pictures of it when the cars faced forwards. The tower was all white with a Superman statue at the top

Dreamworld was smart putting the launch in a tunnel. That way it wouldn't close down with a little drizzle like Superman does.

The ride never went backwards up the tower when I rode it numerous times ,used to launch you forward then you'd reverse back down in 2005

Sort of - the tower is 37 feet taller but the ride track heigh is identical.
