Best videos around saw all your mods and just bought a sport trac 2 weeks ago and did about 10 of your mods already!! The hardest part is finding the best parts, but your videos are spot on. Semper-fi brother- Maga-kaga
Thank you for the videos on your Explorer Sport Trac I have a 2004 and will be customizing mine for street speed. I've been following for a while do you still have yours
All your videos are great! Guess we ignore that Amazon says it won't fit. Lol Just a quick question... was working on another project, I forgot to insert that tube you put that small filter on. Not soon after ,I got a check engine light. Reconnected and problem solved... Have you experienced this?
Love the wheel and tire combination you have. What size and backspacing do you have? I have a 2005 4x4 model and I want to upgrade from the stock set-up.
I have a 2005 ford explorer sport trac and seems they don't make a cold air intake kit for it so my question two part is why? And would a kit for a 2004 sport trac fit? Thank you in advance Carpe Diem

what's that little tube you put the small filter on called? The plug going into the engine on mine broke and now I have a rough idle and it's jerky when I let off the throttle.
Well the stock airbox is super restrictive. This will pull cold air from the passenger fender. The less restrictive air filter will provide hp and torque gain. Plus my old +10 year cold air intake was shot. It needed to be replaced. The truck runs x10 better and idles smoother.
@@munnday86 That's fair. Don't you have to take it to someone with a computer that can change the intake settings to actually get that extra HP? I could be wrong, everyone gives a different answer lol
Does work well even in cold weather? I just got one for my truck and haven’t put it on yet. Was there anything else you needed? Cause my engine is stock.
Hello I bought it and I’m confused my dads pickup has two lines on it the first one you talk about and the second one and I’m not sure what is it for any help
Hey man it’s me again I have a 2003 Ford sport trac and I just got 680 from my first construction job and was wondering what you think I should by first
@@munnday86 I got subwoofer and amp from someone I have a red sport and probably wheels I was going to lift but after twinson twist I would have to get my truck re aligned
I have an '03. It gets up pretty good for as much as I have neglected the poor thing. Id like to put about 2k into and fix it up but times have been tough. In the meantime I will drive it daily until the wheels fall off or it's stolen. Lmao

Did you end up upgrading. I have same year and model and also want to upgrade. Please share your details 🤣
Do you need a wall to cover the cold air from the heat of the engine?

I think that is the PCV tube.
How is the air any colder than the air box already in that area? And is it really going to do anything aside from looking neat?
Well the stock airbox is super restrictive. This will pull cold air from the passenger fender. The less restrictive air filter will provide hp and torque gain. Plus my old +10 year cold air intake was shot. It needed to be replaced. The truck runs x10 better and idles smoother.

@@Hrogthar you dont have to do anything the computer will adjust the air to fuel ratio

What kind of bracket are u using to hold the air filter side up to keep it from bouncing?
The bracket was from the old air filter.. I'm sure you can cut a piece of plastic or ABS. Maybe a couple zipties might work
Great video, thanks for sharing
Your welcome. Thanks for watching
will this fit an 07 sport trac
Do you have any other links for them? Unfortunately they are all unavailable
Do you need that sheet of metal that holds the filter?
You dont need it
Do you need a wall to cover the cold air from the heat of the engine
Awesome! Any codes after install?
Hopefully taking delivery of an 05 sport trac adrenalin tomorrow
Good luck. Hope you enjoy it.
Will that fit an 05?
I live in California and they will not ship it time me 🤷♂️🤦♂️

@@metrogaming7646 yes you will need an alignment after the torsion twist.
Awesomeness!
Thank you.
Question aren't you just getting hotairfrom under the hood?
Nope not down buy the fender.
Is your S.T a 4.0? Thanks in advance, great vids
Yes it's a 4.0. Your welcome
Is the maf gasket need I don’t have one
I would return the kit you bought and buy the one in my description. It has everything you need.
@@munnday86 to be honest I brought it off a guy on Facebook there is no way back unless I buy a gasket off eBay

I installed it your intake in my Ford explorer sport trac 2005 XLT V6 RWD and the check engine light came on. P0174 and I dunno what to do.
Mmm not sure why its throwing a code. Mine has never had a code before because of the intake ... Weird
Did you figure out the issue?
Do U Think I Can Get A Check Engine Light I Just Brought One Off the link u put and I was wondering will I get a check engine light
Nope no check engine light.
@@munnday86 alright thank you and how did u lift your truck is there any shocks that can lift a Ford Explorer sports trac 2002 or struts
Do it on the Sequoia now
I already have a K&N drop in filter. I wonder how much a true cold air intake is
Me too i hear the whole kit is better
I have a 2004 sport trac and I love the way it looks but it’s a just turd lmao.
