About David Wilkerson
David Wilkerson was the Founding Pastor of Times Square Church in New York City. He was called to New York in 1958 to minister to gang members and drug addicts, as told in the best-selling book, The Cross and the Switchblade.
In 1987, David Wilkerson returned to "the crossroads of the world" to establish Times Square Church. As a pastor of the church, he faithfully led this congregation, delivering powerful biblical messages that encourage righteous living and complete reliance on God.
David Wilkerson had a strong burden to encourage and strengthen pastors throughout the world. From 1999 to 2008, he traveled around the globe holding conferences for Christian ministers.

Such a respectful loving man of God David Wilkerson.
There's a homeless lady who has been walking the streets downtown where I work for many years trying to get people to give her money so that she can go to the local liquor store. People who own restaurants in the area give her free food daily from what I understand, and there is a homeless shelter in the same area also who gives a warm place to sleep, and who helps people get jobs and get on their feet, so she's not being forced out into the streets everyday. Instead, she chooses the streets because she's bound by alcohol and darkness. She smells really bad, she looks rough, and she can get pretty mean, and so many people avoid her like the plague. This lady is a perfect description of the dry bones Pastor Wilkerson is preaching about in this message. However, this morning I was sitting at my desk and I saw her walk by the front office and I heard the Lord say for me to go minister to her another words. At first I froze, but as I sat there I knew that if I didn't act quick she would be further down the street. As I walked outside I asked the Lord what He wanted me to tell her and I heard "Tell her that I love her." She was down the street far enough that I had to yell to get her attention. She turned around and started walking towards me, probably thinking that I was going to give her some money. I told her that I didn't have any money to give her but that the Lord wanted me to tell her that He loves her. She said thank you. I then tried talking to her about salvation and how that the Lord is coming soon and how we need to be ready, but again I emphasized on how the Lord wanted me to tell her that He loves her. She was very kind to me instead of being mean. (Smiling! ) .... I'm believing God's Word over her. He says "My Word shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I've sent it to." Amen! .... Please remember her in your prayers for her salvation and deliverance. Her name is Deborah. Thank you!

Amen sister, I walked out of two churches ⛪️ back in 2017 and 2019 because of the rabid preaching of far right politics in the pulpit! Jesus Christ did NOT die on the cross and RISE again to have the infallible word of God defiled by politics. God will judge these tares amongst the wheat 🌾 when the harvest comes. Until then I will continue to praise, pray and seek the LORD even if I am not in a traditional church building. His Holy Spirit is everywhere and I will trust in Him to lead me to where I belong hopefully soon. Until then I have greatly enjoyed the ministry of Pastor David Wilkerson (RIP) and his son Gary Wilkerson as well as other ministers online that have remained faithful to the pure and undefiled word of God and politic free!
