@@EduardoC Still went down to the wire in every match and any sizable lead was diminished by the time Leo is close to being killed.
That game 3 still had Marss eat a b-air at the ledge and almost die before securing the victory within 10 seconds later. I think Mars accepted you won't hold a sizable lead against Leo for too long and that's why he ended up taking every last stock trade he could. He didn't play for the future, he played for that exact moment with no fear. MKLeo will bring it back to the wire even if you're 3 stocks to 1 by the end of the match. It's only about making sure that last stock is gone.

Justin Castillo Lucario doesnt get stronger the longer the game goes on. He gets stronger when he takes damage, also, once Lucario dies he loses all his strength. If he dies 6 minutes in, hes weak even tho the match is going on for a long time.

SPOILERS: man I know Esam loves his lylat stage, but I feel like that pick keeps hurting him more than it’s helping. That last match was hard to watch....
I couldn't even see joker in that stage.
yeah I saw him pick that and I was just confused, he dominated the space on every other stage, lylat's weird layout especially the sides really just ended up hurting him. I think he just saw it was available and naturally leaned towards it w/o thinking just going back to smashville or something, he even acknowledged this on twitter.

The fact that you're defending his jokes in the first place shows that you missed my point. No, they didn't go over my head, but when you have no technical knowledge and resort to just referencing x or y and then saying something like "he took that stock like x did y!", it gets old. And the fake hype from 4 was always complete bullshit, and he just feels leftover from that terrible, terrible time. The amount of times EE and TKbreezy go off topic in TOP MATCHES shows they really shouldn't be there. Coney and D1 do a much better job. It just makes matches frustrating to watch because there's no option to turn off commentary without losing the game sound.

Do you mean a direct link to Top 8 bracket? There's a link to all Genesis events and brackets at the bottom of description, but for future events we can look into adding direct ones for e.g. ultimate all brackets, ultimate top 8, melee etc.

That last stage pick was awful. Joker was damn near invisible the way he blends with the background. He should've went back to Yoshi's island. The wall gave him more mixups with his recovery, while restricting Joker's to be even more linear for edgeguarding. Soon as I saw his pick, I knew he lost it. It seems like such an obviously bad idea.
That set was not easy for leo especially for joker kinda struggles against pika

The commentators kept acting like Leo was choking but imo Leo wasn’t used to the insane pressure esam was giving him during his arsene, the time where he normally has control of the match had it all stripped every time before he could do anything and it was harder to edgeguard because pikcahu’s busted recovery, but esam was a legend in edgeguarding joker with arsene, Leo wasn’t choking, esam is just better than his 14th spot would suggest

What happened to nair loop?
Not sure but when esam does it on strea it looks like it can be sdi'd out of really fast. I see him get like 1-2 loops then it ends.
Also mkleo's di was great he was moving around so well that his Jaír wasn't able to drag him down fast enough to cancel out the 4th hit to start the loop
esam lost because of the skull bash, once you dwell on a bad past move, you can't fully focus on anticipating the future
