As a Kenyan i always find this entertaining but also suprised by the level of bias shown by the Speaker. Kenya and South Africa have a similarity: That the dorminant party controls the Speaker. However our system doesn't allow the President to answer questions in Parliament. If we had the South African system fireworks would be seen!
What is the use of a parliament if the president never has to answer questions in parliament?
To legislate, to carry out oversight of government expenditure, to nominate appointees to constitutional commissions and other bodies. They can summon the cabinet secretary and question spending in the ministry.
