    The thumbnail shows a twin barrel 20mm Oerlikon type anti aircraft gun mount. I have never seen a two barreled version before.

    Bring back some great momeries. A lot of of the video was the 27th recruit Pl in the 27th BATT 1989

    Training back then was alot more tense and tough than it is currently. You'd have to run miles with a heavy rucksack and gun, at 6 in the morning. Then you'd run in a river and do push-ups till you throw up, had to crawl to the toilet one time as my legs were sore. Times have changed dramatically now though, hard to believe I survived the war between C and P whom I will not specify for obvious reasons.

      i spent 26 years in the f.c.a. tried every thing to get in to the army ,what was the war between c and p

      I'm not Irish, (except by descent) so just asking, is the current training less tough and difficult than in previous years?
