I think she did stay longer but we never got to see it, because when she arrived, Micheal was at the brink of death but when she was leaving, he was almost back to full strength so that takes time. Also remember she had her son to go back to
I recently finished watching Season 5, and let me tell you, this kiss had me questioning if the Scylla kiss is indeed my favourite kiss between these two. There's just so much said, you know. I love how Michael doesn't hug her back, how he doesn't attempt to kiss her back, how he just stands frozen there. It says so much. It could be from the fact that he hasn't really entertained this idea of him and his wife like this after so much time, but I like to believe that he was restraining himself to not get lost in Sara. The man loves Sara with all of his life, and he it would be so easy for him to get lost in her love and keep her with him. Like when he held his heart as she drove away... I love this kiss a lot. Scylla kiss is top, but this is a close second. And I'm glad that it isn't a long kiss, because Sara knows that she is still married to another man, and she doesn't want to betray her vows (she did, though), but she also doesn't want to just leave Michael, you know... I don't know, I really adore this kiss, it's probably the sweetest I've seen on TV.
I don't think Sara thought about her vows, if she married Jacob it was because she had to move on with her life and because Mike needed a father but she never stopped loving Micahel since even married I was still Mrs. Scofield. It is more if you realize as soon as she discovers that Michael is still alive because he is giving less importance to Jacob.
I wish Micheal didn't fake his death because Jacob telling him to because Jacob wanted Sara to himself because I loved watching Sara and Micheal together in all of the other seasons

Or go to Greece and ignore her husband. In Jacob's case, he married her out of obsession, out of envy
