The group is composed of Andrew "Andy Six" Biersack (lead vocals), Ashley Purdy (bass, backing vocals), Jake Pitts (lead guitar), Jinxx (guitar, violin), and Christian "CC" Coma (drums). Black Veil Brides are known for their distinct appearance, mainly being inspired by Kiss' stage persona as well as numerous 1980s glam metal acts.

I'm a Christian and all I have to say is that Andy sounds like a pretty cool dude. His idealogy behind religion is pretty spot on and I also like that he was very professional with all his responses. It's good to know that there are some people who respect each other no matter their beliefs.
David Perez yeah, I'm agnostic and this sheds a light on how we can have different beliefs and mindsets but still get along and love each other. (This is so cheesy...sorry)

I'm a Christian and I find this guy completely intelligent and articulate. I've heard people constantly call them a Satanic band, but they're not. There's also a video of Andy Schooling a heckler on here where he says that everyone needs something to believe in and claim that he is not anti-Christian.
Wow Andy is pretty damn inspirational. Rare to see such intelligent people these days. He's a good reminder that the world is not completely full of judgmental people. I like BVB that much more now lol :)

hey Ballistic Fingerprints he's not teaching people to be disrespectful and rebellious. He's teaching people to be themselves, be proud of who you are, and not be afraid to go against the status quo. He admitted that he was rebellious but never disrespectful. You just have to truly listen to him to understand that he's saying be proud of who you are even if that isn't part of the status quo.

I think it's cool that they're open and understanding of all religions and can appeal to all their fans you don't see that in many modern rock bands I have a lot of respect for Black Veil Brides
I have been a fan since they first started up and watching interviews with Andy Biersack is always the best. No one ever expects these rock stars to be intelligent people but Andy's intelligence always blow me away. Smart kid, makes me love him even more.

Why can't singers/actors like Andy be popular in the media? Why do we put people like Kanye West and Miley Cyrus or Kim Kardashian on such a high pedestal? But they don't offer anything to us; they don't offer anything inspirational. They don't even offer us a good message..

Exactly the huge stars are complete jerks to their fans and mostly care about them self and Andy is nice and cares he is just perfection.
They don't care what people think. They only care about what makes them happy. Society is saying this is all okay when it really isn't. It's disgusting what Miley Cyrus has been doing. I hate living in this "Don't judge, just love and accept" world. Just because gay/lesbian couples can know be married doesn't mean people should "just accept" this. I belive that it is wrong, yet people say "Don't judge" to me, when "don't judge" IS being judemental, and they just judged me for being judgemental.

I'm a Christian but I have been listening to secular rock genre for 6-10 years. It baffles people how much I love Christian and secular rock music. Yet I find it very therapeutic. Rock music deals with the ups and downs of life. I really love how Andy Biersack is eloquently blunt yet so well-spoken in all the interviews I've found on TH-cam.
Andy is a pretty inspirational guy with how well he sympathizes with fans and cares for others. I just hope he can turn to Jesus. He would help lead so many people to Christ.
He was Christian when he was growing up but he's not anymore, he just likes the theatrical-ness of it

This helped me close a dark chapter in my life. Thank you for discussing suicide in this video with Andy two years ago. I was going to end my life on Jan 27th of last year but instead became a huge BVB fan that day whilst killing all of the BVB hate I had for BVB inside me that became pure love and admiration for the band. So thank you. I hope you get to interview BVB more in the near or far future. Best of wishes.

Andy is one, if not the only rock stars that truly has his mind set on ruling the world with his music and his fans. Black Veil Brides is one of the BEST bands out right now! Andy is my hero, along with all the other members of the band
I'm a Christian & I can easily say, it's exhausting and a pain. (I'm always gonna keep believing what I believe, which is just God & Jesus etc., essentially.)
But I'm also biromantic asexual, & I support the gay & trans communities so it pisses me off greatly when people get all preachy about sexuality. I've always been taught that Christians are supposed to be one of the most accepting & nonjudgmental religions out there, soooo....
& then you get to this music that is awesome. Just cuz they scream, & wear makeup people think they're bad. Ridiculous. These guys rock & help save lives!

I'm a devout Catholic and I agree with Andy 100%. You can't always believe everything you hear. You have to find the truth within it and form your beliefs from your faith. You have my respect Andy Biersack!
i notice that with every interview i watch of andy, i find him to be a better and better person and i would like to meet him more and more.

This happened to me. I lived in Idaho for 3 years, went to middle school and my freshman year there. Throughout middle school I had my mask on, pretending to be something else. and then I discovered Black Veil Brides. Fallen Angels and Saviour changed me forever...I cast off the mask and tore down my walls, and now I am truly an Outcast. Everyone who did like me for that lie has pulled away and won't speak to me or even acknowledge my existence. They ask what happened and I say "This is me."
Andy. You are my inspiration. you and the black veil brides really helped me get through a lot of shit in my life. i always felt alone and unsure of myself and who i am and black veil brides helped me find myself. and i just wanted to thank you very much for that. your lyrics spoke to me in a way i though no one could and i've never felt so happy, or so normal ever. you've tuaght me to never give a shit what people say about you, and you've really helped me change in a good way. thank you! ♥

I personally don't even like BVB's music very much, but I appreciate how real and down to earth the band seems. It's nice to see someone like Andy have his opinions but also respect others who disagree with them. At the end of the day it's just a group of guys having fun and playing rock music, and I can respect that.

No matter what stupid haters say this band has inspired many, and it helps people to feel better about themselves in those shitty times. I am a Christian, and although I don't agree with his idea of 'being confident in yourself as a person before you commit to a religion", I totally see what he's getting at. And i respect this guy and his idea of respecting other no matter what their beliefs are. Andy is so intelligent and well-spoken, with an awesome message. And I love his voice! 🖤🖤🖤
I love to hear what my heroes have to think about the world. I am a Catholic and I love Bvb and I totally agree with what he is saying about how all these religions are doing it for the wrong reason. I really am so grateful for BVB because music is the one thing that keeps me from killing myself. I cut but I don't do it for attention so don't give me any of yours I am just telling you this because its BVB that makes me put down the razor. Thank you Andy.

I agree with you. I'm as well a Catholic and was brought up that way but not a very religious family for where everything revolves around our religion much. And I completely understand where Andy's coming from and agree 100% of what he's saying about religion and one's beliefs. He's very intelligent and has always had my respect and will never lose it. :)

thanks yo Andy and what he's said i've been really wanting to start my own band i've always wanted to make music and he's pushing me to do it :) he even told me personaly over the phone on loveline he said even though i'm young I shouldn't let any thing stand in my way :') I was shaking so bad talking to him and I almost cried with happiness I love him so much and I just can't believe I got to hear him telling me these things actuly to me I can't let any one get it my way

About the suicidal thing I've never physically hurt my self or attempted suicide but I've had MANY thoughts about it and my emotions are pretty dead right now because of what kind of childhood I'm going through and they won't be alive agin until I start my own family and run from my past but there's nothing I can do and I'm just having to tough through it no I don't have cancer no I'm not beaten but my emotions are and will be a reck for quit some time and I know how it is to want to "cover your personality up" I just started acting like myself this past year and I'm loving it,living my life how I want it has been great even though I've received EXTREME amounts of hate I don't really care because it's my life and they can't tell me how to live it also if you took the time to read this thanks so muck you have no idea how great full I am that someone actually took time out of their day to read something I wrote
