Finally, a video without dangerous bad advice. Thank you. This is good stuff.
This follows the Advanced assessment criteria of the AQF qualification framework as well as the CSIRO felling manual.
Good work.
Safety is everything.
Excellent advice for all concerned with thanks Gunter
Excellent source of information, good to see someone dealing with the problems typically found in Aussie hardwood.
Clear, safe advice
Solid information here fairplay!
Great info, thank you for posting.
Great video ,safe sensible and informative.Do you have any on hung up trees? I have to deal with them at my work in remote locations and it would be good to have some tried and tested techniques to fall back on as I don’t always have a vehicle or winch handy . I’m dealing with Australian hardwoods wattles and eucalyptus mostly and all can find online is plantation softwoods
You didn't explain why you dont wedge tree over on Damage tree.......Because the vibrations caused from belting the wedge in can create a widow maker to fall.
Wedges also encourage further cracking in dead, brittle wood as opposed to an orderly lift you'd get with a lively tree
