Rob's laugh is truly a blessing for all of us ❤️
Once when Priest played Philly, the bass rig went out. Nothing, no bass. So the sound guy pumped up the bass drums. Just about blew off your face.
I bet the crowd that was part of the act! They need to get all these stories from every band and make another Spinal Tap.
Don’t know why everyone is talking about Glenn’s ageing. He doesn’t look that bad, and he’s speaking a little softer and slower, so what? The man’s nearly 70 and still rocking more than most 20 year olds.
No. He is definitely frail and shrunken here. Now that we know he has been living with Parkinson's Disease, it makes a lot of sense.
@@rudolfschenker Great endurance for having Parkinsons, I saw a lot of people that couldnt say a word or stuttered the whole conversation.
Do you find yourself attracted to Glenn?
Theatrical rigging is no joke. That's part of why we have unions. I worked independently for most of 20 years and I'll tell you from firsthand experience, I'd rather stand under truss that was flown by a union crew than non-union. IATSE for life!
Great to see Rob, Glenn, and K.K playing together again
however, that is Not KK in the video!
neva pawloski LOL I didn't watch very much maybe the cold opening till the three appeared and I saw glenn and Halford and just presumed it was K,K cause of the Blonde locks lol DOH!! Cheers =)
neva pawloski LMAO Im on a HD Laptop now and GOD IT ISNT KK DOH again
I believe K.K. has left the band ... the man on Halford's right does not appear to be K.K. ... anyone else care to chime in ?
Jeffrey Paxton
It's Richie Faulkner.
Glen Tiptop is turning into Ozzy!
Aging is so sad!
and rob halforld look like a big penis, but you know, "you are what you eat" ;)
+CaribSurfKing1 lol. i was thinkin the same thing. but he was a badass, lets not forget
Neil Tipton was? He still is
Glen Tipton
this just in... Parkinsons.
My god how Glenn has aged! That's insane. While it does make me sound like a creepy old person, I still remember young 70's Glenn. Man... aging does suck quite a bit.
Regret that comment now?
Having a chronic ailment makes one age five times faster than usual. You can't look like a Playgirl centerfold forever.
ITS heisenberg . I AM THE MAN WHO KNOCKS!
Хорошая команда Judas priest.
i love kates
'that wasn't good' hahaha gold!
That was fucking great
Audio would Help, I went to school with deaf people but never learned to lip read ?
who is the one to the left?
Kid Rock, lol.
Ritchie Faulkner. He replaced KK Downing with his blessing.
Ritchie is not a hanger on to show up once in a while. He's carried his part well even if he doesn't have 50 years of road trip stories. JP didn't hire a couple of hacks to replace the ogs. Faulkner was a kid learning to play guitar when JP came out. He said he practiced every JP album. Let that be a lesson kids, dreams are reality that takes time.
Curtis Mayfield was paralyzed that way.
Laughing my ass off at this, but of course as usual bit unfair on Richie who has no stories to tell
Meh... guess ya had to be there
rob looks happy to have a younger man in the band...
They've written the butt hurt into his contract :D
In my opinion, Judas Priest invented heavy metal and what it was supposed to be. They invented the genre. Yes! I'm standing by that statement and if aliens from outer space land on Earth and stuidied our culture and wanted to know what heavy metal music sounded like I would hand them British Steel and say "here ya go weirdo".
No, they didn't. Black Sabbath invented heavy metal.
Yeah.... sure......
Black Sabbath intented Judas Priest and then Judas Priest invented heavy metal. So, yeah, heavy metal is Judas Priest's thing, you hear me freakin' aliens?!
NelsonClick better play them unleashed in the east
@@phillipleblanc7823 Black Sabbath didn't invent Heavy Metal. They weren't playing fast enough for that in the 70s. If they invented one metal-genre, then it is Doom Metal!
Besides that, I wouldn't say that Metal was created by just one band.
I believe we have all had Spinal Tap moments, like the bizarre gardening accident and kicking girlfriends out of recording sessions.
The bassist in my band in high school was one of those guys that would constantly try to bring girlfriends to practice and the studio. Dude had at least 3 girlfriends break up with him over arguments they got into with me until he finally quit the band. After he left we went through bassists like Spinal Tap went through drummers. The best Spinal Tap moment we ever had though was at a small show a few hours away from home in an old building we had never played in before, we were standing outside a back door together, myself and our other guitarist were smoking cigarettes getting hyped up to play. We had to go through a few halls and up a flight of stairs to get back to where the stage was, somehow our singer got separated from us and ended up lost and out front of the building. We ended up going on without him and having our current bassist sing for a cover of Killing in the Name by Rage Against the Machine to start with since we couldn't find Josh, our singer, anywhere. About 3/4 through the song he came pushing through the small crowd towards the stage. The people at the front door gave him a hard time and refused to believe him that he was part of a band at first until he really started freaking out that we started without him lmao. Every time we played a show after that we made Josh stand in the middle of the group so we could keep track of him because although it was the first time we started without him it was not the first time he got lost on us.
Composed nice melodies and given them inappropriate titles
@@AHHHHHHHHHHHHl I believe we've all done that. I once wrote a song called Why You Gotta Be So Young? about those barely 18 ladies. Needless to say it's wouldn't fly nowadays. It shan't be played again. Besides it was a copyright nightmare because I had sampled at least 5 different songs to make it.
is there a video of the incident that glenn describes? i want to see it now
What one? I want to see them all. Getting electric shocks everytime they used the mics is my favourite. I bet the guys in Spinal Tap would be kicking themselves if they saw this.
In the old days, cameras were less ubiquitous and phones stayed stuck to the wall! Don't ask me how we survived those dark times because i really don't know... i think it had something to do with SPAM
D Sharp SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM AND SPAM
Goddamn Rob beat the hell outta Glenn 🤣
bring back KK
I'm surprised they didn't tell the one about Rob's motorcycle accident on stage.
These Priest guys are pretty good but no match for Spinal tap the most real classic British Evy Metal band of all time.
A band that needs no introduction.
Awesome stuff!
I feel sorry for surrogate K.K with all of no road stories to share.
Ritchie Faulkner shreds, though. He has to have been a lot more bands before joining Priest
So no audio guy,eh? bad sound...
love these guys!!!
A
kk is out dude
I don't think even one member of any rock band has been killed onstage, and yet the entire band almost went out that way. Good lord!
Great white
valar Nick Menza died on stage.
Dimebag Darrell was shot in the face onstage.
What's the intro song ? It's not from Judas, is it ? Just listened whole discography, couldn't find it.
Nope, its just some instrumental bit.
*****
Ehh...sad...kinda catchy part you know.
bullshit. all fucking 17 or so albums?
??
BIOSHOCKFOXX the guy said he went through their whole discography
call it what you want, without KK it ain't Priest
HJBounell kk isn’t the band dude.
40 plus years of that life; its break time.
