    Just wanted to say your premix fuel test comparison video is one of the most interesting TH-cam videos I've ever seen. I hope you're able to do more vidoes along those lines in the future. I mean comparing fuels, 2 cycle oils and bar oils, chains or whatever. Thanks. BTW, on a whim I said to myself "wonder if Redbull661 has been up to anything lately,." Punched your name in the search and what do you know, I found a 4 day old video after 2 long years! Thanks again!

    I recently bought a Stihl MS 661 CM Magnum by accident (complicated story so I'll spare everyone the details) and I'm pretty pissed off because I wanted the MS 661 R instead! My reasoning is that I don't like the idea of having electronics in a chainsaw. My question is for those that have the CM, What is your experience with your saw and has the electronics caused you any problems. I'm thinking of getting rid of it or possibly giving it a chance.

      @@PurpleNovember I'm with you on this. A lot has changed since I posted the original. Now I have the Stihl 500, the Husky 592 XP and the Echo CS-2511T. So I stand corrected on the electronics in chain saws.

    • @PurpleNovember
      @PurpleNovember ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jaxxonbalboa3243 how do you like the 592xp compared to the 661cm?
      I’ve been thinking about a 592xp instead of a 661cm for a bigger saw.
      2511T is on my list to get soon. I tried one with a 16” lightweight 3/8lp .043 bar & chain. They did an exhaust mode on it but otherwise stock. It’s a great size to keep in the tractor, which is why I need one. We were surprised how that little saw handle a bar that big. They put the 12” back on, we just wanted to see if was feasible for light use and actually be able to cut through a 30” log.

    • @jaxxonbalboa3243
      @jaxxonbalboa3243 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@PurpleNovember I wound up ebay-ing the 661 and kept the 592xp if that tells you anything. The 592xp is very powerful. Its not light BTW. I can cut through 36" wood with it easily. It is very loud so hearing protection is a must. It sounds more like a motorcycle than a chainsaw.

    • @PurpleNovember
      @PurpleNovember ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jaxxonbalboa3243 Thanks. That’s generally what I’ve been hearing about them. I’ve heard the air filters stay cleaner longer compared to the 661
