I would NOT advise on wearing a seatbelt in an unprotected kart... There is a reason why motorcycles don't have a seatbelt... or actual gas karts either. In case of a crash, you want to be as far as possible from the heavy machine tumbling. You DON'T want to be strapped to it. Cars have belts because you are inside a metal cage with airbags, and body compression, etc. It's a whole security system designed to slow down your body as slowly and smoothly as possible. if this thing flips around, you are stuck under, and your neck gets all the pressure because there is nothing solid above your head. Granted this thing is not as heavy as a gas kart, and doesn't do the same speeds either... but still. I think this seatbelt is more dangerous than helpful. One of my friends would probably have killed himself in a gas kart if he had a seatbelt. he went out of track and the kart started tumbling. He got ejected and hurt his wrist (healed in a few days). But the kart had a 100x wilder ride, and landed upside down. He would have hurt himself really, REALLY bad if he had been strapped to the kart... maybe worse.
this little guy is really good! i wonder how long the rear tires will last with the slight drifting on each turn? how much to replace the tires and do you have to buy official tires from Segway or can you find them 3rd party? this was a cool video!!
Thanks! The rear tyres were just replaced after doing just over 300 kms (which was a bit of a stretch) with lots of drifting from the little guy, lol! Bought the the rear tyres from AliExpress for about $170 AUD a pair as they were cheaper compared to eBay and Segway-Ninebot store and they are official for Segway-Ninebot GoKart Pro. :)
With my 8 year boy weighing about 35 kg can run up to 50 mins doing 37 kph. Really depends on driver and speed. It usually last over an hour and can be fully charged in around 3 hours.
Hi, you can control/select from the digital speedometer if your GoKart has one? We had the same issue when we paired a new S Max with an old GoKart Pro. I’m still learning the new version of Ninebot app as it’s gone a bit complicated for me compared to the old version - in my opinion. Hope my advice helps if you still haven’t figured it out yet 🙂

@ First Last - That’s unfortunate, maybe there’s a loose connection? Our karts are still going strong and one have done about 500 kms with only the rear drift tires replaced after 300 kms of drifting and driving, which was a bit of a stretch really.
@ Teun - True, gas go karts are faster but this type of electric go karts are still fun to drive as they go up to 25 mph/40 kph and are practical and convenient with less maintenance apart from the need to recharge the battery to around 3-4 hours. You can choose the type of motor sounds or no sounds at all, no loud sometimes annoying motor sounds from gas go karts. They are lightweight and easy to transport in the trunk of your car :)
@@teun3526 Where we’re from, we can’t use gas powered go karts on empty carparks or around our neighborhood as they can be too loud which attracts attention and can not turn off the sound of motor. Unlike this type of electric go kart, you have the option not having motor sound on at all when driving one.

Save your money. I have a Segway pro goKart. Total crap. The mother board and sensor went bad and shuts down every little bump. $2,000 waste of money
