The rainbow bridge is such a wonderful idea and a sweet way to remember all the babies that have been lost at Longhorn Lesters. Menopause is crazy and hard at times. I fully understand as I am post menopause, still get hot flushes and all the other joys that come with menopause. I am praying for you both and for Sadie. 💕

Lmao 7 foot woman, reminded me of the time my boyfriend was over a foot taller and I put a large rock to stand on in the rockery at the front door, I pass that house every now and again and thirty years on that rock is still there and I get the giggles every time I see it lol
Thing about people trying to "help find Sadie" is that they are trying to help BUT.....for Lester and Jami who are emotionally on edge already...every email, every call, every message (thus far) has been another heart break.🥺🥺 I pray she comes home safe soon. Keeping y'all in my prayers ❤️❤️

Lester, I quit alcohol and soda and dropped 45lbs. my knees no longer hurt and a soda is a treat. My husband hates greens, So I make him a smoothie with my ninja. It's spinach with an avocado and blue berries or whatever fruit. A banana is good. You can even add cocoa for a chocolate flavor. With a few gulps you get you greens and veggies on a daily like medicine. If you can eliminate red meat to once a month that helps as well. I still drink my 1% milk but that is not an everyday thing. I wish I got as much exercise as you. But you keep me tied to my computer lol. Thanks for all the edutainment. BTW I live in Fla. so our springs aren't small at all
FYI, if you hire a dog trapper/tracker, it's their responsibility to bait, empty etc..the traps they are like detectives. They are very successful finding lost dogs in the central new york, upstate, wooded areas. If you call him, he might recommend someone in your area

where Lester saw that white dog the other night if you go on google earth maps , its looks like the rubbish tip is in line where Lester park up and did not see where the white dog went has the crow fly's ,, if it is Sadie and i know its a big if , i think she might be roaming that area , and there are open pastures , and there are or so by the look cows are not far from the tip ,plenty of ponds to get water and plenty of house to find food ,
Professionals warn people not to call out to a feral dog because that triggers the fight or flight mode, so well-meaning groups can complicate finding Sadie. It took 2 1/2 mos through winter snow for an Aussie to finally be sighted. He was miles from home so unfamiliar with the environment. After 2 mos his trackers had sightings around a 30 mike track. His owners walked their other dog on a leash near the sighting & just ignored him until they calmly said his name & he ran to them, skinny & dirty & climbed all over them. Sadie probably is finding food in farms, but when her brain clears you will find her honey. She loves you and your critters & there is nothing better so if her brain can calm to hear you she will run to you. 🙏🏽🙏🏽 You are both intelligent & make wise decisions & have a lot on your plates. Trust your guts. 😘

Jami, I am laying down plans for a memorial garden. My family are painting rocks to put in there for decoration, and I will be making name markers for all my lost babies out of bolders and handmade cement ornaments.

I have lost countless nights of sleep waking up to go potty in the middle of the night and cry and pray for Sadie. When Lester missed that dog by the ranch, my heart broke. I see her getting thin from not eating, scared. I hope she makes it through this cold weather. I hope someone feeds her. I thought pouring food by where she was but away from the hwy. across from your property and watch that area. I cry often for her.
As for power lines, no a lot of them are not buried underground, up here in Iowa. Even after an ice storm several years ago now, that had a very large area of power poles snapped off - every last one, so that it took 3 weeks to replace enough of them to turn power back on for everybody!!!

There are a lot of dogs in the country. They’re not as many dogs running around in the city or the suburban neighborhoods. I think I may see one or two dogs in a year that are running around in our neighborhood.
Your new diet plan sounds very positive. I am concentrating on smaller portions. Mostly to help control my diabetes. I have lost two pounds in two weeks. I will take that. I also was a stickler for whole milk but my dietician urged me to try Fairlife 2%. Nice. Chocolate is amazing. Good shelf life.
Jamie I understand your point about weight loss. I have lost about 40 pounds over the last year and a half. Finally a friend noticed how big my pants looked on me.
Jamie go to a hormone doctor …. It will help you tremendously. Also don’t do high stress cardio . Just warm up like 10 minutes in a treadmill or elliptical and then circuit train weights . Progesterone and estradiol to make sure you have the right estrogens working for you . Hormones
I started my journey for weight in August. Men lose weight faster than women. Don’t beat yourself up Jami. Taken me all this time to lose 16 lbs. Harder at 72 but I will take the win. You can munch on raw almonds. Went to a naturalist when I started menopause. Easy and shorter for sure too.
The springs on our family property is not a trickle. Each time we cleaned it it would powerfully bubble above the surface by at least two inches. Amazing.
I was watching my friend's little dog. I took her outside with the leash she had sent. The weather scared her and she broke loose. I and neighbors tried for hours to find her. She had run into a rough pasture. Posters, searching, nothing. It was so heartbreaking to tell her she was gone.😓

I still think Sadie may have followed the scent of Fancy and Faith when they went away with Mr Longhorn Jake. Sadie loves her calves.

Not all power lines are buried in the Midwest. In fact most aren’t and ice takes trees down. Lots of power outages with ice storms.
