- Since I saw a video about "The juiciest tacos" served from a Food truck in Los Angeles I've been searching religiously on where I can find them on the east coast. Finally a new business by the name of Chofi Tacos has them located on 1706 Summit ave. Union City, New Jersey. Quite frankly they put alot of love into these specialty tacos, Birria tacos with consome. The beef is sat in the oven for hours until it releases the natural beef juices. They then strain it to make the beef broth. The beef is then used for the taco meat. And what you have here is a delicious taco experience. The beef tacos themselves are very delicious and the soup just adds to the juiceness to it. Fresh pressed tortillas, excellent tacos makes this place a must-try if you are in the surrounding areas.

I feel sorry for the people who had never had these type of tacos! Was raised on them! Birria is a traditional dish, especially when it’s cooked with goat/ lamb!!

I’m in Arizona and just learning of these style of tacos a couple months ago. I’m so glad I live in a state where they are easily accessible 😆. Several places make it out here and cant wait to try 😋 🌮.

I been eating birria my whole life. Birria is one of those foods you will eat at a traditional Mexican wedding paired up with Spanish rice and refried beans. But if u wanna have the best birria tacos those are gonna be found in Los Angeles out of a taco truck. They make the tortillas by hand and they serve it with the consome (the broth in the cup)your supposed to dip the taco in the consome.. That's how your supposed to eat them. They taste so much better.

BIRRIA-LANDIA In Jackson heights Queens NY is amazing Pro tip: get the Mulita which is better then the taco and get some of the Habanero and onion salad they open a 5pm and the line is always long. And while your in union city NJ You have to have Dos amigos which are known for there homemade steak sandwich stuffed with homemade cheese fries Just add hot sauce and ketchup also get a fresh fruit juice

Hi just found a lady from California moved here in Fort Lauderdale fl . I can’t wait to try it out. She is new here and have been selling out with long waiting lines. She only sell now on Thursday by food truck set up by Pembroke Pines mall. I can’t wait to try Birria.

Had a long week at work. I'm just watching this, late. Man, those look good! Similar to the tacos my wife and I had at a family-owned tequila place in Cozumel, Mexico. When they gave us the tour of the place, the grandmother was cooking tacos out back and let us eat for free. Insane! We need a place like that near Columbia, SC

Just went to this spot today, the tacos were good, actually pretty darn good. The broth was alright too. However, not too sure if I'll go back. At $5 a piece they were pretty small tacos. 50 minute wait time and another 30 minutes for parking. Maybe I'll try it again on a weekday.

Great review. These are the best tacos I've had. I've eaten Teddy's red tacos In LA. Will have to make my way to union city being that I live on the east coast. The mulitas with the consomme are my favorite.

It's really not that bad! I used Simply Mama Cooks recipe and it came out great with a slow cooker. Definitely a must try.

La Cazuela De Doña Mary in Toms River NJ makes awesome Birria tacos. The homemade tortilla and meat were delicious. The soup was meaty. The portions are large at a reasonable price.

There's definitely some places around Philly that have these, and they're every bit of how you describe them. Actually, I know one place on Holme Avenue in northeast Philly, but it's like a secret menu item. They got overwhelmed when it was on the regular menu lol. Great stuff
