It’s insane to me how Nolan went from Hans to Ludwig and STILL found a masterful composer to reach that emotional, powerful impact with a different and unique score we wouldn’t hear from anyone else. Ludwig is a genius. Chris is a genius. The score is genius.

I took up running as a fitness activity this year and for the 2nd half of the year I've only just listened to this soundtrack whenever I ran. It helped me get more focused and motivated me to keep pushing further. I was able to complete 10+ 5Ks, 3 10Ks and even a half marathon, always had this on during the race and also during training runs and never skipped even one track. I was initially concerned with Hans not being onboard this movie but man Ludwig just blew me off. Not just one of the best soundtracks of the year but one of the best of all time. IMO Goated film scores are ones where if you listened to it like an album, you can visually see the movie playing in your mind. And vice versa, if you watched the movie with the sound fully muted, you can still hear the score in your mind. Nolan has had so many of these collaborating with Hans Zimmer. But Ludwig Göransson has also knocked it out of the park for both Tenet and Oppenheimer. Both scores since the day they’ve dropped have heavily been in my rotation of albums I listen to. Never have i ever thought i would get past Interstellar as Theme & movie. Oppenheimer did.
Oppenheimer theme gives me chills and goosebumps everytime.
I had doubts over Ludwig instead of Hans but he proved me wrong.

You’ve read my mind. The Interstellar score was moving emotionally, but the Oppenheimer score was a beast of its own I’ve never experienced in my life. It represented the universe’s beautiful intricate elements but it traverses into something grand, out of control, chaotic, in the course of the dilemma and impact on the world.

The moment I learnt Ludwig scored Tenet, I knew from there going forward he would be Christopher's go to composer. I hope Chris and Hans will reunite again though 😉

It's kinda crazy to think that a composer like Ludwig or Hans would be consider as classic 100 years from now

I thought there could've been less music used in the first half or so, some scenes could've just been dialogue, but the score was fantastic and one of the best aspects of the film.

Look up Jermaine Stegall and Terence Blanchard. BTW, the conductors name is Anthony Parnther.
