    I’m convinced everybody hating on AR isn’t even from LA. They probably can’t even smell the smoke. A lot of the Lakers fan base right now are LeBron bandwagon fans, all they care about is getting a championship for their king without worrying about the repercussions for the future of this franchise. Austin gives his hundred percent effort every single night you can’t say that about everyone else on this team. He provides real leadership which we need.

    Right now the team is mostly better when AR is on the floor. That's why he has been playing more minuets lately. Improve the team but keep Reaves on the team please. He gets the ball to our stars and helps their games.

    The reason you don't hear anyone jumping to Austin's defense is that the negative comments aren't worth reacting to. They're either irrational hate, not expressed in good faith, or they're just not serious basketball people.

    Lakers have 2 options 2 Gamble 🎲
    #1 Jordan Poole & Jonas to LA
    #2 Lonzo Ball to LA
    LOVE the Lavine fit but Lakers would have to gut their roster for the money to work (very counter productive).

    Is Chicago really in a position to demand draft picks for Lavine though? I like that trade but I wouldn't give 1sts that weren't heavily protected.

    People need to stop saying lavine is on bad contract. Players like Beal, dame, jimmy, kyrie, fox etc lakers would trade for another not even think about the picks. Yet lavine is still under 30 healthy and balling out. Lavine fits the lakers needs offensively and he’s not a bum defensively he has size and athletic

  • @mikey-p9e

    Lavine is an all star. He can efficiently and consistently score in all 3 ways. He has over 50 percent shoot percentage and 44percent for 3s. He can shoot, pass and bring up the ball. He can easily be point guard and shooting guard. Bruce brown has not chance again Lavine. Why would you not want this guy who is balling and in his prime. He is a lot of fire power and exciting player which lakers need. Lakers don’t have any exciting player except 40yr old. Bron. Lavine is average defender but brings a lot fire power and he can be used for crunch time. He has great jump shots who can shoot over defenders to end the games or game winning shots. 82% free throw shooter. He would be a great closer. Contract is bad but he fits Bron and ADs timeline. He has 2.5 years left. We will try with Bron, AD and Lavine for this season and next season and if it doesn’t work, trade him as expiring contract. This is the best chance lakers have. Check out his last 6 games averaging over 31 points per game very efficiently. Lakers do not have someone like him. No one wants to play with Bron but Lavine does. Go get him

    • @leonfisher1172
      @leonfisher1172 22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      You make a good case, but assuming this means no Reaves, it's not as additive as looking at Lavine in isolation. I look at the Suns and see how that team is doing with those 3 great scorers.

    • @mikey-p9e
      @mikey-p9e 22 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      @@leonfisher1172 right, not including reaves. I would give up 1 first round for Lavine and use the other pick and unrestrict the pick we gave to Utah last time for Kessler. Bron, AD and Lavine all play different positions. Can you imagine how efficient and effective we would be on at least the offensive side? We need that athletic fast guards. It’s not like the Suns where all their stars play the same position and Beal is washed. And then go pick up some hungry dogs like Dennis smith jr for toughness and athletic defense. Don’t trade for Bruce brown, he makes 23m and averaging 5 points with 37% from the field. You shouldn’t have to buy defense. Defense is a will, not too much of skills. If player has the will and little bit of brain and some physical abilities, most players can lock down. Especially if you sign hungry players like DSJ or Fultz, they will play their heart out. Bruce brown is not the answer. He is too comfortable with his 23mil per year contract. If we get Lavine, it would be like the old Miami team with wade, Bosh and Bron. Bron always had a scoring guards like kyrie and wade to go to finals. 2020, he had very good AD in his prime along with rondo and good core of guys. We don’t have good core of players and we can’t flip the whole team in mid season. The core of guys have to have same mental state of mind and have the chemistry. You can’t just create a 2020 team by putting some similar players.

    Based on the current lineup- The Lakers are going to actually use realistic strategies. Lebron is 40 yrs old his contribution is critical for the team to have consistent wins. Using an old San Antonio Spurs strategy, Lebron should start playing in the second quarter, similar to what Ginobli did with the Spurs Championship season. By Lebron starting the second quarter opposing teams are going to have a harder time preparing defensively because Lebron can play all 5 positions at a high level teams will be somewhat thrown off. Lebron will be able to get rest and be able to conserve energy and really be able to cook in the quarters that matter 3 and 4. So in my opinion the starting team should be AD at the 5 , Rohie and Finney Smith 3,and 4, Max Christi at the 2 and Reaves at the 1. Reaves will have to improve his ball handling skills

    AR is not a 3rd option and I don’t understand why this is even a question. Great contracts or salaries don’t win championships Ferraris do and Austin is no Ferrari. It doesn’t matter how hard he plays he will always be VW the worst starting point guard out of the top 8 western conference teams

  • @AmericanBoy4832
    @AmericanBoy4832 22 วันที่ผ่านมา +4

    Austin Reeves is not an athlete than can compete with the really athletes in the NBA. If Dejunte was guarding Jamal Murray last year he does not make TWO GAME WINNERS! AR gets targeted by every one. People couldn't see it because of the overblwon attention to DLo. Dlo expiring contract could always be turned into something better. The sell value on AR deteriates with every game.

    I would give up AR/Gabe/Rui/FINO to get Him and I would ask LBJ to Opt Out and take $20-$30 Million in 25/26 to get another Klutch Client - This would give US more Room to bring in Role Players in 25/26.
    Starters - LaVine/Max/DFS/LBJ/AD

I will go as far as saying that they make life more difficult for reeves and the others when they are expecting the role playes to win all the games for them

    Zach's contract isn't bad after year 1 of the Lakers. LeBron contract will be up. At 41 LeBron needs to come off some money to stay or he can walk so the Lakers can add more depth around Davis and Zach. That's the only way I see it working if they traded for him.

Trade Woods for Sharpe in Brooklyn or Kessler and get 2 key players from the buyout market and get this chip. The Lakers are losing they way and seem to forgot how to win or play championship ball. everyone see what trades they can and should make except them. I don’t care what Zach Lavine is making he is a piece we need and can elevate us to championship status. 🅿️
