@@vickiediamond1 Ive been going to hardcore shows since the early 80s. I did the slam dance thing, the mosh thing the circle thing, stage dive thing, pogo thing, and etc etc... The punching, spinning, kicking is relatively new in terms of how long I have been around. I have seen lots of people get punched and no one cared. To me thats just careless and stupid IMO.
@hazysativa3045 where do u live? I grew up moreso going to punk shows with circle pits and ya you'd get the people slightly more aggressive to pushing, but i never was into that. I like the kind, and more fun pits. I dont love the more aggressive hey I want to punch at or kick at people pits. Ya, if u do want to swing ur arms or punch around or kick i feel you should do it so you don't hurt people. I don't get the wanting to hurt others how some of these shows can get. My oldest daughter says mom u just must be too old then, and maybe you shouldn't go.... but i love music too much to stop going.
I also have heard of slc or utah being known for their crowdkilling at hardcore shows. I just assumed other places were like that too... I mean I have watched videos of other hardcore shows that are the same. So I dont know. I just don't like when it ends in someone's nose getting hit and bleeding or/and broken or someone's knee getting kicked in. Etc..
@@vickiediamond1 Being in hardcore bands since the 80s I would hate to see that from the stage. If someone fell you picked them up, but you didnt throw round house kicks and spinning back punches etc. You would have got "stomped" for that. There was always people getting hurt but not like this.
