When we tell Africans that we Nigerians are not in a competition with them because we genuinely believed for centuries that Africans are not our competition and we only compete against the best in the world they don’t get it. Now they do. They will be forced to admit and accept it because we will not stop as a people until we get the respect that we deserve on the continent from our own people who don’t value us.

2024 really shut up Ghanians. All of their stars are trying to fill up a tiny hall in the O2 Arena and they are struggling and yet some of them believed that they would be in a competition against Nigerian musicians or rappers because that type of talk made them relevant. It’s that madness? I am very happy for them that they at least understand their level and are now working hard to start making hard currency and build their business and career.
