Olamide has emerged the first and only African rapper to surpass 1 billion streams on spotify and the only African rapper to be nominated in a Grammy. The debate of the best rapper in Africa has finally been put to rest.

      Well said. ❤👌🏿
The debate for the best rapper in Africa has been put to bed by a Nigerian. Who else could in Africa? No one.
When we tell Africans that we Nigerians are not in a competition with them because we genuinely believed for centuries that Africans are not our competition and we only compete against the best in the world they don’t get it. Now they do. They will be forced to admit and accept it because we will not stop as a people until we get the respect that we deserve on the continent from our own people who don’t value us.
1 billion streams out of over 7 billion people on earth. That is awesome!
2024 really shut up Ghanians. All of their stars are trying to fill up a tiny hall in the O2 Arena and they are struggling and yet some of them believed that they would be in a competition against Nigerian musicians or rappers because that type of talk made them relevant. It’s that madness? I am very happy for them that they at least understand their level and are now working hard to start making hard currency and build their business and career. That is a very good thing. Nigeria is the king on the mountain with no rival or number 2.

Real Nigerians don't brag or need gratuitous praise singing because they don't have an inferiority complex. They just get things done and move on with their lives.

Imagine Ghanaians had the attitude of Keyans or Ugandans in terms of pan african brotherly love , they would have been the main beneficiary of this trend as our closest cousins that we banter with the most. But village pipu won't allow them😅.

Akin, you have a good heart and you are blessed in Christ name, one truth is that Nigeria is more than 400million in population, the West is only lying to the world
Make this simple calculation, if just 60 million women have a child each, in just four years, what would be the population of Nigeria in 4 years, 60 children multiply by 4 = 240 million people added, now imagine how they have been marginalizing Africa for a long time, our population is almost number in the world
