Hey Nico, thanks for the high quality video as always. Do you think you could make a video about the mistakes to avoid in windsurfing to prevent back injuries? It seems to me that many people quit windsurfing due to back injuries and it also prevents some people to get into windsurfing. I myself have spinal pain after intense sessions, and I'd love to know what to do in order to avoid them. Thanks again, and keep up the good videos!
Actually that would be a great idea Nico, I keep going to the same spot in Greece every year and I got quite acquainted with the people from the surf shack. I realized that absolutely all the lady windsurfers (instructors or just people from there) are having some sort of back problem. Did not see a similar correlation within the guys from there though.
What a Dream to get a car like this. I always need to stuff my gear on the roof an that sucks in high wind conditions by loading and driving. Wish you many many nice trips and big thanks to Van tourer to make such dreams come true.
Hey Nico, in the next videos can you bring up please how to use the adjustable outhaul before jibing and after ? Is the (cam or no-cam)rotation more easily when releasing a bit outhaul (which in fact is a downhaul issue) ? Will the battens flip smoothly when outhaul is released? Thx! Luc (Belgium)
Please can I ask what you have used for the adjustable cross bars. We can get a similar rail system for the side of the van, but struggling to find the cross bars with the correct fixing to go into the holes? All the best.
Epic. An obvious upgrade would be to close the environment for the gear and have good ventilation there, so you can be in the van and sleep there in a non-smelly, non-damp environment....
We need more brands with these kind of vans in europe! perfect for off the grid, mountainbikers, dog owners, etc. Outsidevan from US is also producing stuff like that, but not available in EU. looking foreward to see something new from Vantourer 😍!

Hi Nico, I'm a beginner here and I started watching your vids, they are very well done, even though I feel they are more oriented towards more advanced windsurfers. I just learned how to tack and I'm getting slowly used to the harness, but I'm having huge problems as I fear the catapult (both hooked and unhooked), it's dangerous for me and the gear as I get launched towards the nose and the rig crashes heavily on the board, I already hammered a hole in it unfortunately. Would you consider a video, guide or anything about it? I feel like it's a common issue among beginners like me, it would be incredibly helpful. Thanks and keep up yhe good work!

Anyway, I would like to make a suggestion (if it's not a problem for you): I'm convinced that you can add a really funny video on your channel to show us some of the funniest things happened while windsurfing, swimming or even during other water activities, I was thinking of something like a "oops and bloopers" compilation. For example, you could gather all of the times where you or your even your friends get recorded on video during ops times... like a pee time! Once, my uncle, who is a surfer, had a pee in his wetsuit on his surfboard while we were waiting for a wave, it was soooo hilarious and funny that I almost died 😊. He always tells me there are 2 types of swimmers, divers and surfers: those who pee in the water and those who lie. If you want, you could also include those "releasing" moments as small clips in the future videos just to keep having a bit of humor on your channel, you can use both old and new clips, what do you think? Yeah… I know, it could sound weird for your right now, but, in my opinion, it's the funniest thing about surfers and swimmers, believe me. When a windsurfer pees in the water, I think they demonstrate to be someone who is not afraid of consequences or to be judged and they just enjoy the moment, no matter what happens. And if you can't tell when someone else does it, well, you could ask them to do a particular sign before they do it, I think it's something that can come out great! I'd be so so happy to watch it, let me know, have a wonderful day!

Best design I have seen and I really surfed the www. There are some Canadian companies with the bed solution but there is no way to store the stuff inside. Is it a four-wheel drive? I live in Australia and we have some dirt roads where you need that. Do you have still the possibility to put something on the roof? Well done.
Mein Traum! So einen Bus zu haben, und jedes bisschen Material einfach reinschmeißen zu können, ist das beste was einem passieren kann. Ich überlege zwar, mir den Bus auszubauen, und den bewohnbar zu machen, und Surfzeug im Anhänger mitzunehmen, damit man unabhängiger ist, und einfach am Spot bleiben kann. Aber auf jeden Fall auch so ein krankes Teil! Btw, denke beim Auto an z.B. einen VW T4/5, da die nicht so viel kosten

Great van!! BUT: you can eat but cannot "uneat" ;). You can sweat sailing, but cannot unsweat. Strange they did not manage all that in 7m. If you come back again this winter to the island with the big volcano, i show you my van.

Bzw. welche Höhe muß man einplanen pro Board inklusive Bag? So ca. 25 cm? Wie sieht es mit "Gummibändern" zum sichern der Boards, Masten oder Gabeln aus? Ich werde mir jetzt wohl einen Anhänger (vermutlich Koch) anschaffen, da ich ohne Autodach 😇 etwas Transportprobleme habe 😂
Sorry the van from marc pare has more space and where is the place for the 🚾? So far as I remember there isn't a toilet on most beaches around Tarifa. But honestly van looks great and for sure better than Marios van ;-)

Great van! I would have loved the whole thing to be electrified. But I guess the batteries (I guess you'd need ca. 200 kWh) would have made it even more expensive.
@@2kcars507 depends with 800 volt technology and 350 kW charging at ionity a 200 kWh battery would be feasible. 10 to 80 percent charge would take you round about 30 minutes. Taking a break every 350 km might seem like a pain at first, but actually it's better for a number of reasons.

Van obviously very sweet, but if you want to know the English phrase for slow closing cupboards/drawers, they would be called "soft close drawers".

Full electric would not be very practical for longer trips- such as Northern Germany to Tarifa.
