Only issue is the bottom bracket now makes you have to open the one without the bracket first. Thus, if you put the bottom bracket on the left door, you must open the right door to be able to open the left door. The ball catch lets you open either door independently
use 2 top brackets, if you have clearance put the magnets on the bottom of the door and mod the bracket (or find flat plate the magnets attract to) and stick this on the threshold instead.
The only problem with this system if you use the latch on the bottom is, you will sometimes need to open both doors because of the bottom latch. I do like the magnets on the top of the doors.
Since they are hidden behind the closet doors, we believe the WHITE or BLACK will blend in with most trim colors. They are not currently available in all the array of hardware colors available on the market. Thanks for your query.

And it is almost a yellow under artificial light. I've yet to build a new home with off-white trim and closet doors. The off-white finish I found stands out like a sore thumb against white trim. I would even take no finish and paint them ourselves. :) Thanks.
My product is being bought out by Better Home Products. They will not take full possession until October 1, but they will have a true white available then. It will not be available online as mine are. You will have to find a BHP dealer, which is most door shops, lumber and hardware stores.
What about interior doors between the entryway and the day room? Both sides of the door are visible and I don't want this ball catch, it's bending my glass doors and I am afraid they will break.
Did you find a solution to this? Obviously, you can use a bolt into the floor, but that's not very convenient, plus it means there is a hole in your floor that needs to be kept clean (and is visible). Another option could be a strong magnet in the head of the door and in the door frame. Could be routed in so its flush with all surfaces. The bottom of the door might not be secured, but if its for a hallway or a room that doesn't require to be locked, then it probably doesn't matter.

I can see trying to reach something on a top shelf and scraping your scalp on that bracket that sticks down a good couple inches. I suppose it's like anything else. Once you learn it's there, you're good but if a guest is getting someting down or if it's a room like a hotel with different users rotating... I wouldn't want that liability with today's sue happy society. Good luck
