I flew on a Learjet 45XR - C-GMSY with Skyservice Air Ambulance from Cancun to Doncaster via Montreal. The flight was comfortable and I was well looked after. Very smooth and quick flight. Flew to Reykjavik airport too.
I used to fly the default Lear 45 in FS2004 all the time. It's really surprising how much looks similar, the plane close up on the tarmac, the drop stairs, the line of rectangular windows, whole disposition. Even the layout looked similar. Like I'd plopped right back to managing an IFR flight. Doing the thing. One thing I didn't pick up on right away was the cabin interior. Looks really different than the model somehow. Maybe the default didn't have a cabin. I don't remember. Really cool to take a real flight and compare to memories of what is really a surprisingly familiar bird. I don't think I've even seen one in real life. Why I like these videos. Some reference where otherwise it's a lot of imagined fantasy. By the way, the exterior clips of it parking: also worth it. I used to replay those a lot from exterior views. Always like to see the real thing. Like the video.
I flew on one of these for a company training. It was only a 2 hour flight. But it gave me a new respect for motion sickness. On the flight back I pounded 2 beers and slept all the way back. Lol.
JetSuite used to be the ultimate at just over $500 for the whole plane, now they charge way too much. Advanced Air & JetSmarter are your best options now, that I'm aware of.
Hmmmm must be nice to be rich. El Cajon to Hawthorne is about 3 hours on a bad day and $20 in gas. You got it for free but to pay $1200 to $1000. Not sure it pans out unless you are super rich. Looks like a really nice flight though.
Thanks so much for watching! This particular relocation flight was originally priced for $1,200. A few days before the flight, it dropped to $1,000. When it was clear it did not sell, I was offered an invite.

Awesome trip report! I'm impressed by the number of snack on board :)
Thank you for watching, as always!

Just came across this video. Very cool. I operate this Lear's sister ship, 45-369 down in South Africa!
Wow! Good News. You Finally get to Fly the Corporate Jet.
Bad News. You get the Belated Lav/ Toilet.
Best to you Scott Whitmire T.N.A. Burbank.
A 45 all to yourself...that’s a life upgrade for sure

Great video!
Thanks so much for watching, buddy! This was a fun one to shoot.
Luv your videos... they are the best!
Great video! That has got to be like taking off with a Saturn V strapped to your arse!
Thanks for watching, Ryan! You're certainly not far off, even at a reduced power departure.
@@RyanBomar that was reduced power? holy Jesus
Did you list your plane for sale? I swear I saw a learjet 45xr with same interior and paint design online
She is listed for sale, that's correct. www.controller.com/listing/for-sale/198280121/2008-learjet-45xr-jet-aircraft
NO COPYRIGHT!
Learjet should have kept building and improving the 30 series jets. They were tried and true.

BY this time next year I plan to be fully retired at 63. Do you have any tips on cheap private air dead heads and how to find them? BKD33

Incognito12000 better to be overpowered than underpowered

Heh.. I was wondering if you caught the Cessna on the go as you started the takeoff roll.. I was sitting in the lot just beyond.
Oh yeah, that damn Cessna taunted me on the roll :)

Better top off that O2
GTA SA Freefall, cj.
Do you get invited onto these flights? Or pay full on? I can’t even imagine how much a flight like this would cost 😂. Great video Ryan!

RyanBomar that’s crazy. So glad you got the invite and were able to share your experience with us. I’m really enjoying these videos :)
