cmathissr46 exactly like I tell everyone especially with the money you pay its like a mini bill for a highly detailed doll I get some mistakes might appear but I expect it with paint apps or texture not pieces falling off or missing or not being able to stay on. And if they light up should be no lighting issue that's an issue you get squared away before putting paint on a figure or doing any type of detailing. I'm sorry that happened to you Siri personally I would have already started with customer service and ask for a replacement quickly or my money back rather than fix it myself.

Then getting a complaint that something was broken. Plus I understand if you're making an adjustment to you're figure but you're not, you're fixing something by your own methods for a plastic figure you paid more than $200 for. Stuff like this with Hot Toys just pisses me off cause working people are willing to give money for a highly detailed doll even if it's a repaint but that money supports them and keeps them going. By me saying all of this you know the minute I find something's broken upon opening sideshows having a hard time with me.
The one I received was defective. Before I was able to remove the figure from its box I noticed the left and right small removable armor below the chest armor have huge and deep scratch on them. I am in process of contacting Sideshow for a replacement.
The Red Iron Man Figures with the Plastic Panties seem to be the ones most likely to suffer from fading. This also happens to their hands. IT can be fixed with a can of Spray Paint. Check with me on one of my Saturday Live Shows, and I will show you the can and talk about how to apply it.

No, this figure is not Diecast. When this had been made, there were only 4 Diecast Figures that had been made, with the last one of those four being announced in 2014. Those original were the RoboCop, The Mark 42, The Whiplash Mk 2 and the several versions of the Hot Rod and War Machine Mk 2. The Mk 7 was not made into a Diecast until Last Year. Until recently, all Diecast figures have had a Diecast Number assigned to them, for instance, the MMS 195 D01 represents the Iron Patriot, the MMS 500 D27 represents the only Mark VII we have had made into Diecast. MMS 329 is not Diecast. So far, the only figure they have made which is Diecast that doesn't have the Diecast Designation is the Hot Toys MMS 568 Iron Man 2 - Mark IV Holographic Version. For whatever reason, even though this is a Diecast Figure, they did not give it a Diecast Designation. Actually, the Hulkbuster as well did not get a Diecast Designation although in its final incarnation Diecast pieces were added to strengthen it, I think on that figure it is because originally it was designed without Diecast pieces. Actually now that I think about it, this Mk 4 Holographic figure as well was ALSO Originally designed without Diecast Features. I hope this answered your question adequately.
