Just do it, hi Your brain will learn. It's like switching from fork to chopsticks. Given that you master both. However, I'd suggest using a dedicated cootie. gl 73
Yes. Just as it would if you ran a wire between your contacts on any single lever paddle. This can also be done with a stereo to mono plug adapter for any single lever paddle.
It’s just a regular 3.5mm cable with a right angle adapter off of Amazon thin shrink wrap so they stay together. They also have cables with right angle plugs on them available.

What is the brass knob below the paddle on the front side for?
This is a magnetic single lever paddle or sideswiper. It is to adjust the tension by adjusting the spacing of the magnet.

I would have put it at the rear side of the base but it has grown on me. It operates great.
