I am beginning weekly uploads with this, a great example of the 'heroic' style of middle-period Beethoven (one of my favourites). I shall also be considering suggestions for future pieces so do comment below if you want to see anything in particular!

I totally agree with the comment of Monsieur DylanXylan, because this marvellous performance along with its high quality of sound does really include lots of elements that the so-called many past maestros could not express and communicate at all in their recorded media.

Every time I hear that high E, like at 21:42, I think about the same high E during the second movement of his 14th string quartet (about 40 seconds in). Every fucking time!
Mmore notes does not mean one part is more important than the other. Their really are three parts to this, the bass piano, treble piano and the cello which all are equal.

Simplemente hermosa
The amount of joy in that piece! The openness and spaciousness of the first theme is like open arms just before a warm hug
Uhmmmm the backdrop of this piece is the Napoleonic Wars…
@@jameso1553 Beethoven is greater than history.
The scherzo is so patiently developed and so simple - it sounds as though it was written yesterday

What form! Absolutely loved colossal sonata form.
Great post of what may be the greatest duo sonata of all.
Í think so
Thank you so much !! Expecting other 4 cello sonatas by Beethoven ~~
What a great compositional technique...
22:55 the left hand bears a striking resemblance to a certain Etude No 1 from the School of Velocity by a certain student of Beethoven.

Your videos are amazing! The collection of Beethoven's Piano Trios you uploaded was simply beautiful. Keep it up!
Thank you for putting the effort in these videos. Very useful.
Fantastic audio quality!
Beethoven - zum Niederknieen 😍
Nice
quite beautiful. The opening reminds me of the theme from cinema paradiso just a little bit.
This is a wonderful performance. Thank you for uploading it with the score. Could you do Beethoven’s sonata for piano and horn Op.17 sometime?
Sure, I'll add it to my list!
Keep up the good work, thanks.
Beautiful 😻

Equal importance? I definitely would not say that.
What do you think about it?
