  • Baiser was formed in 1991 by vocalist/leader Yukari. After quite a few lineup changes early on, the band split up in 1996. However, Yukari was not ready to give up the band completely, and returned in 1997 with a new lineup. Shaisuke (ex-PENICILLIN) on bass, Katsura (ex-Shazna) on drums, and Rei and Mizuki (both ex. Iris) as guitarists. They released a staggering amount of music in the time they were together. However, in 2001 the band split up permanently. Yukari and Mizuki formed the band Endorphine together, while Shaisuke, Rei, and Katsura formed Swallowtail. Neither band lasted more than a year. Shaisuke died in 2001 after spending 3-4 days in the hospital. The cause was not officially released to the public, but it is rumored to have been a car accident. Since then, the members have mostly vanished into obscurity. Yukari was the last one seen on the music scene, being the producer of Rentrer en Soi until 2006.

Introduced? Woah. May I know how you got to know them? They're not too popular in this century.
