    That hotel is close to Ueno Station for Narita Airport.
    The breakfast buffet is delicious and cheap.
    The hotel room is clean and comfortable.
    There are Ueno park & Ameyoko market near the hotel.
    In front of the hotel, there is JR Ueno Station.
    If you take JR Yamamote subway line or Tokyo metro line there, you can go to every places in Tokyo.

    Looks like the hotel is in a quiet area. Did you say “location”. Very nice looking inside, but the room is pretty cramped for an extended stay.

      Perfect for a single person or couple. Long term? probably not. Thanks for watching!

    How about Ueno Hotel, a big smaller I think?
    We are considering staying Ueno due to easy train ride from Narita, less expensive hotels, and close to other nice attractions.
    How was noise level (close to train station), and quality of the hotel?

    • @ITS-interestingtravelstuff
      @ITS-interestingtravelstuff  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for your question! Noise level is not an issue. It is very quiet because the train tracks are on the other side of the station. As for the quality, it is a smaller boutique hotel, very cozy, very clean and they do hold your bags after you check out. As for the train from Narita, the Keisei Skyline is the better of the two- faster and lower cost. I hope this helps.

    How far walk from Keisei Ueno Station? Have you stayed at any other hotels in Ueno?

    • @ITS-interestingtravelstuff

      this hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Keisei Ueno Station. I did stay in 2 other hotels, unfortunately, I did not make videos on them.

      Have you stayed at Hotel New Ueno or Hotel Crown Hills Ueno Premier?

    • @ITS-interestingtravelstuff
      @ITS-interestingtravelstuff  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Neither. I did have a reservation at Crown Hills but my plans changed. One of the hotels was the APA. Nothing special. The other, is no longer around as it was many years ago during my first trip to Japan.

    Can I ask what size room you stayed in? Was it the deluxe single or a double room?

    • @ITS-interestingtravelstuff
      @ITS-interestingtravelstuff  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The room I stayed in was a deluxe single. it had a queen sized bed. Overall the room was quite small(normal for japan hotels) but perfect for 2 people.

      @@ITS-interestingtravelstuff Thanks I am staying there in October in the deluxe single so wanted to ask if it was the same room. Your video was very helpful 😁

    Thanks, what about breakfast and other services?

    • @ITS-interestingtravelstuff
      @ITS-interestingtravelstuff  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for your question! There is one restaurant connected to the lobby which serves a breakfast buffet and is open for lunch and dinner. Unfortunately, I did not have a chance to dine there. Maybe next time. No room service or any other convenience features that I know of.

      It is non-smoking and I did not smell any smoke or nicotine at all. You will enjoy it if you stay there!!!

    You did not consider APA Keisei Ueno Hotel which is right across from Keisei Ueno Station? A room for two there is roughly the same size as yours except there's no room for that small sofa.

    • @ITS-interestingtravelstuff
      @ITS-interestingtravelstuff  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I did not because I experienced the APA Hotel in Shiomi- near Tokyo Disneyland and found it not to my liking. If you'd like, check out the video-

      You can compare the Shiomi APA to the Keisei Ueno Shiomi. I'd be curious as to how they differ!

    Sorry not for us, bed push against the wall is a turn off . For two people are hard to move around with luggage and all. I like the rate for $100. I could book two rooms if there is a adjoining door/room.

    For me its not even i want a bigger room but a bigger bathroom. I find the pre fab bathroom units all these business hotel have uncomfortablely small.

    • @ITS-interestingtravelstuff
      @ITS-interestingtravelstuff  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      True. The bathrooms are on the smaller side but they somehow cram a soaking tub in there!!
