People LOVE to mischaracterize characters bro, like Giyuu, people make him super duper depressed to the point they actually make him s*lfharm. Like sure he's depressed in some way but he still has at least some happiness in him and he's basically the quiet type. He's got people that care about him like the other hashiras and of course tanjiro and the rest of his group :)
