I think JC staff COULD do a great job if they were actually given the time, but because they rushed this out, half of the show wasn't even animated lol. And don't even get me started on that AWFUL overly bassy sound they kept using for explosions and such that sounded like they threw rocks into a washing machine and had it gargle on it for 3 hours. Just awful.
Thank you for this compilation, it let me truly show my friends how much of sitamas screen times was wasted and how they not only under played his strength but also his ralivence to the story. i hate it so much i want to die... have a good day
You’re missing the point. Saitama’s strength isn’t supposed to be any sort of Icon or anything, nor should saitama be there for every single fight. The simple fact of the matter is that Saitama shows up when he’s needed, and that’s how it should be. This both allows us to see just how insanely strong he is (Watching what are essentially gods getting walloped by monsters only to have saitama casually stroll up and kill them in one punch), but also gives other characters some time to grow and develop with their own story arcs. If he showed up for every single fight the entire anime would be cut down to 2 or 3 episodes and none of the other characters would be as unique or interesting as they are nowadays. I get we got a lot less of Saitama in S2, but if he showed up more there would’ve been no way to set the plot for any future episodes.
It was a different animation studio than season one. It honestly felt like all of the punches were still pictures or not even shown. I hope they do better going forward.
