Where I live Snow is unreliable as a cover so I rely on mulch and row covers. I do some overwinter spinach, not to harvest during the winter but to get a jump on spring so as to have them mature before heat sets in. Overwintering varities of onions do best here, less rots and insect damage as they mature during dry weather and miss the egg laying period of the maggots, they are not harvested during the winter but are planted in the fall and mature early in the summer. Usually I have cabbage, kale parsnips, turnips, Chinese cabbage, jerlusum artichoke, bunching onions and diakon raddish to harvest overwinter.Thank you for sharing and have a wonderful week.
It seems to me that you are doing an excellent job. We are glad that you are successful and that you are growing plants even during the winter. It is a shame not to use the garden in this period as well. We hope you found more useful tips on our channel. Have a nice day and good luck with your work
