I just found you, you popped up on my Home Screen and I've put a sh*t load of Canva videos in my Watch later. I've used Canva for years, but never did a deep dive into what it can do for me. Single momma of 4, trying to get a channel to monetization, trying to figure out how to make a business from my art (traditional acrylic artist) and juggling every day life. I know there are faster ways to do things and I know I haven't tapped into Canva's possibilities, so I'm hoping by watching your videos over the next little while, that I'll learn lots and boost my online presence as well as getting a business off the ground.

Canva just gets better and better. For my work (songs and music videos), I don't need page numbers, but the other new features are great for me. There's probably stuff I can do in it that I haven't even explored yet.

That’s so kind of you to say, Steff! I’ve never gotten a comment like this so thank you very much 😊 The mic I’m using currently is the Sennheiser MKH 416 and before that I used the RODE lavalier mic.
With leonardo you were able to copy the seed and therefore you would be able to achieve consistent character generation. Is this that is something that has come over to canva? If so please can you do a video on it?
I've just added captions to my video and they are absolutely brilliant. The only issue is that captions can only be viewed in canva, not downloaded. This is very disappointing... what's the point in generating them if I can't use them? Or maybe I'm missing something?
I believe you might have added the previous caption option which is meant for displaying them in-app only. It’s for when you’re collaborating inside Canva, watching videos embedded within designs or when presenting. So this is more of an accessibility feature. The new captions feature which is supposed to come very (very!) soon is more in line with what you’re most likely looking for so editable and downloadable captions that work great for content. Can’t wait to see this feature live!
Can someone please HELP. I make different types of greeting cards etc. I have a file that I use as a base template for all my cards. The problem is every time I make a new design and need to use that template, I have to open a separate Canva page so I can copy and paste in on the new Canva page to create the new design. Is there a way to have that template to stay open in the side menu or something so I don't have to keep doing this. It is so annoying and a time waster. If anyone has any solutions, I would really appreciate it. I hope this makes sense.
There is a solution! First, I highly recommend you save your base file as a template so that every time you click on it, it creates a copy for you automatically and you won’t have to copy and paste anything manually. To do this, open your base file, go to Share in the top right corner and from the More option choose Brand Template or Save as a Template. Secondly, you can then star this template, and it will appear in the side panel of your Canva homepage so that you can easily access it with one click. To do this, go to a folder in Canva where this design is and you’ll see the little star in the top right corner of the thumbnail. Click on it and it will be added to the side panel. If you need any help with this, please let me know! 🙏✨
