I've been playing Genshin since release and i can count on one hand how many times i had to go over 70 pulls for a 5star. While in star rail, every single 5 star i pulled i had to cross 70 pulls. They def have not the same rates going on between the 2 games.
You were just lucky in genshin. The pull rates are the exact same. I pulled 4 5*s back to back in starrail and yet I have to cross 75 in genshin every time.

@@6th_Army HSR hard pity is 90 pulls(and it's nearly impossible to get 90), so even if you lose 50/50 the theoretical nearly unachievable maximum is 180. So either miHoYo are breaking the law or you're wrong.
