Best content at the moment from all cc‘s. Thank you. I got her to a5 and its really frustrating that all the new heros are underwhelming. But hope dies last :-) btw, there is a yt video from „MarkDeir“ who showed her in GB2 with IR. She did more dmg than Alistair. Unfortunately i dont understand the russian language 😅
I did not test her thoroughly and there are so many different variables that it's hard to say one way or the other. I can say my Jeera was A0 in Soulbound with triple attack%, and my Alistair was A1, which is a significant boost to his damage. He was also in Soulbound Arcana. Both received inspiration via constance. Beyond that there are a lot of factors that could skew the damage in one direction or another. Some heroes gain disproportionate damage from IR and maybe she is one of them!
Very good equipment breakdown, but I want to clarify one thing that has showed up in all your math. I read the Glacier effect "Gains an ATK bonus equal to 6% Max HP when deployed" to mean "at the moment they are deployed" as opposed to "while they are deployed". This would mean post-deployment HP increases did not get converted over to ATK. How sure are you that post-deployment HP changes also increase ATK, the way that you have shown here?
I'm not sure, I assume it adjusts dynamically with Max HP, but you could be right! Given the damage increase she gains from the ult it would be hard to parse if there was a significant difference.
@@BluntgutsGaming I will keep testing, with some different alternatives, then. So far, my best damage has come from a Glacier set with 2xATK/1xHP, although I haven't gotten to SA 3xATK yet.
That's interesting, I did not play around with adding attack% glacier to the mix. Keep me posted! She has such weird gearing requirements that I felt it was going to be too big of a task to produce a coherent set of results that would translate. This is the problem with their gearing system - ancients have a preset set of stats that they can roll and non-ancients gear so rarely rolls high that each account may have a different experience with a hero like Jeera
@BluntgutsGaming I've got a series of videos on my channel if you are interested. My conclusion at this point is that how you gear Jeera will depend on what you need or want on your team. She ranges from a high-damage bruiser to a punching bag who will definitely muscle herself into the Tank ranking lists. She can certainly be built to be effective either way, so there isnt a clear "best" option, and that means the GVG meta will get a bit more wild.
Awesome, I will check them out! I'm not really convinced that she's going to be effective in GvG personally, she takes a crazy amount of damage, and absent her A3 doesn't have any way to effectively mitigate it once she uses her ultimate a second time. Even ignoring all of that her block is going to make it way too easy to just run past her, and her one tile range means she can't just be placed behind a defender. If I wanted to counter Jeera I would just deploy a set of Skeletal Guardians and a Fallent Templar then deploy a swarm or dogs to run past her. Her damage only gets crazy when she takes a lot of damage and I think she's just going to be too easy to run past, even if healers can keep her alive.
Heya, I'm confused, at 16:06 and 21:43 you have Soulbound giving 24193 attack, but where is the extra 50% damage getting factored in? Wouldn't that make Soulbound the better choice? And how does 3x HP% soulbound compare? Also, do you know if the reprisal and retribution inputs come in after the (att-def) calculation? I.e. They don't get reduced by Semrah's high def?
Hey Tim, I did not do a full damage test so I did not address the 50% damage issue. It is the main reason, along with the extra stats, that traditional damage gear is going to outscale hp% glacier gear. I did not mock up anything for hp% main stat Soulbound for a couple of reasons. 1. Soulbound ancients can't roll hp% main stat. 2. Soulbound hp% regular gear with solid damage stats are few and far between, they very rarely roll well and even when they do it's unlikely that many accounts have 3 perfectly rolled pieces of hp% Soulbound. Finally, 3. Even in the rare cases where someone has all of these pieces you're still likely to end up around 10-12k attack, which would completely nullify the benefits you'd get from the hp boost. Glacier is unique in that it synergizes so well with her massive HP pool, but I don't think it's viable to be running her at 12k attack regardless of how well those pieces rolled. Basically my findings were that you would be forced to make a decision between big hits from Divine Reprisal (Glacier) or overall higher damage from all of her skills (Soulbound). Regarding Semrah I did not delve too deeply into doing actual damage tests because my initial testing showed subpar damage and I didn't think it would be competitive. Someone in the comments has said they've seen IR producing solid damage which I did not check because her kit doesn't read as having a lot of damage that is based off of her basic attacks, but it wouldnt be the first time that the skill descriptions didn't match with the in-game experience so maybe that's the way to go
Hey dude, can you see if you can figure out how her HP is calculated? I built her with PRE-DEPLOYMENT 31,497 base HP 74,040 from gear POST-DEPLOYMENT (no PoD) Pantheon +27.5% max HP Talent +30% max HP Key of the Forsaken L1 3x stacks of 5% max HP 2nd Ultimate +40% max HP What I don't understand is the 2nd ultimate she got + 139,000 HP permanently - which seems a lot more than just "40% max HP".
At the end of the day Soulbound should be a bigger damage increase because it's 50% of her damage from all sources, not just damage that scales off of basic attacks. There are definitely some instances where IR works better on heroes regardless, so that could certainly be the case here. Ultimately this breakdown was supposed to be about building with glacier vs. more traditional damage gearing (i.e. hp% main vs. attack% main). I also wanted to show that the way that glacier ancient pieces were statted would limit their effectiveness because they just don't typically (or ever) have the ideal stats. If I was looking to make a declarative statement about which produced the highest overall damage I would have included damage testing in the breakdown.
Amazing breakdown we all are looking for! I think just like Lucius people are over hyped about this hero… I pulled 2 copies of her and think her A1 actually will make her worse to pair with Preatus… good news is that I haven’t awakened her yet but I still don’t know where she can shine… I do hope I am wrong though and want to see if she can work as a damage dealer in the guild boss 2.
@@Diego-sp9gp FYI I tried her in GB2 and I was pretty underwhelmed so I decided not to do a damage test and breakdown on her. In a Praetus team she was doing ~33% of A1 Alistairs damage in Glacier, ~60% of his damage in Soulbound Arcana. I think she can act as the tank and fill in as an arbiter body for the Praetus boost but otherwise she isn't bringing a ton to the table. Her big damage comes from Divine Reprisal and she doesn't take damage frequently enough there to have the glacier outweigh the bonus attacking stats from a more traditional damage build. Appreciate you watching!
@@BluntgutsGaming this is in line with what I was thinking but I didn’t want to spend the resources to test it out. Hey dude, can you see if you can figure out how her HP is calculated?
I built her with
PRE-DEPLOYMENT
31,497 base HP
74,040 from gear
POST-DEPLOYMENT (no PoD)
Pantheon +27.5% max HP
Talent +30% max HP
Key of the Forsaken L1 3x stacks of 5% max HP
2nd Ultimate +40% max HP
What I don't understand is the 2nd ultimate she got +
139,000 HP permanently - which seems a lot more than just "40% max HP".
How can you tell it was +139,000 hp?
Is she skilled up? Iirc it's +60% Max HP from her ult with full skills
Infernal raw better, don't understand why people don't get she benefits from Infernal raw
