- Millie - My Boy Lollipop 1973
(Released 1964)
My boy lollipop,
You made my heart go giddy up.
You are as sweet as candy;
You're my sugar dandy.
Ha, ho my boy lollipop,
Never ever leave me,
Because it would grieve me.
My heart told me so
I love you, I love you, I love you so.
That I want you to know,
I need you, I need you, I need you so,
and I'll never let you go.
My boy lollipop,
you make my heart go giddy up.
You set my world on fire,
you are my one desire.
Oh my lollipop
(Instrumental)
I love you, I love you, I love you so.
That I want you to know,
I need you, I need you, I need you so,
and I'll never let you go.
My boy lollipop,
you make my heart go giddy up.
You set my world on fire,
you are my one desire.
Oh my lollipop
Oh my lollipop

She is a bimbo miming her 10 year old song. Probably could not even sing live in 1964 either.
Oh my goodness. This sweet song just popped into my head today. I looked it up to listen, only to find that the poor thing passed away this month. After discovering her sad story from the rise to fall in her career, I was even more saddened.
May you be at peace dear Millie. You are a Jamaican treasure!
🖤🖤🤘🤘. I get it.

Millie Small - A complete knock out here! I use to enjoy watching her on black & white television, when I was only 3 and 4 years old back in 1967 & 1969. Led Zeppelin, and Jimi Hendrix came later on after 1970. I wish that Sweetie Millie Small was still alive and well. God Bless her Soul.
Oh my
She lives in Kingston, jamiaca. met her 2 years ago when we were on a cruise. she performed at the hotel. She still looked nice and she was very nice.
