Fun fact, no. At least to my knowledge they didn't really confirm that at all. Second, the skins and all of their voicelines have not been released, only a wild rift voicelines leak from Kayn. But even going off of that, Rhaast's voice is a lot more mature and raspy. I just believe they majorly messed up while picking the voices. The only one that actually fits great is ezreal. And I believe they should've leaned a lot more closer to the in-game voices for the characters. The singers are great. But most don't hit the mark on embodying the characters. K'sante's voice could've been deeper. Kayn fits more of this new wave of rap, where half the song is screamed. And that would've fit the aesthetic of him changing forms. As it stands, we do not even see his shadow assassin form. Over all, maybe they overhyped it. Especially with some TH-camrs (you know who) assuming that "this year is leagues largest budget." Or "riots" not sure which they said, but it certainly feels like they didn't want to go all out into this skinline. And worst part is, like True Damage (which did A LOT better in fitting the voices to the characters, even though there are two different rappers rapping Ekko's part) it most likely will not live up to the insane size of KDA, and will be the next one off, single song, cash grab band from riot.
It is a speculation. Besides the voices being mismatched a bit, the animation is fantastic. Besides some moments, it is high quality and just what you expect from riot. But the splash art, the voicing. And partially the in-game voice of kayn (at least in wildrift) is very very lackluster and somewhat disappointing.
(On its own, the song SLAPS, and I have been listening to it on repeat)
P.s. not criticizing the song or video, or the people behind those. Only riot's dedication to making a connected and understandable skinline.

You won’t be disappointed if you do. They have a lot of really popular songs but even their solos, soundtracks, subunits and b-sides are amazing. They just did a Killing Voice (a show focused on showcasing vocals) and did a medley of some of their most popular songs.

For those that dont know, the reason kayns voice is so low is that his STAGE ego is rhaast, his voice isnt supposed to be like his normal voice its supposed to be dark and grim which is why his lines are also dark and grim. If they make more songs i think theyll end up making SA a stage ego as well to fit the theme, maybe SA will be like a smooth freeflow artist because thats kindof what Cal Scruby is, hes a very flowy and smooth rapper and I think thats why they chose him specifically to voice kayn because he fits that kindof mold for kayn. Either Dark and Grim with rock n roll/deep hip hop with bass boost rhaast or freeflow smooth shadow assassin.
and if you try to fact check me on "how do you know its rhaast singing" a RIOTER literally confirmed that rhaast lent kayn his voice to sing with in that universe.

@@ThuhBigA Yea i just did a little more research on it, he is just an alter ego which is why when you go SA on heartsteel kayn rhaast still speaks. When i saw the riot post on twitter it made it seem like rhaast had LENT him his voice, like he was possessing kayn when he was singing, but it turns out that kayn more or less has split personality disorder and his stage personality is rhaast. Still kinda like hes being possessed by a demon though.

At first I was so hyped about K'Sante being in this band, but the song made me sad. K'Sante's voice is so shit. I can't imagine big beef man having such a thin voice. They should've used low Kayn's voice instead. After "I'ma show you how to crash a party" next line goes straight afterwards, like the chorus was sloppily cutted. If I had had a chance, I would have added 1 or 2 seconds before chorus. And one more thing I don't get. Kayn is singing - they show Kayn; Ezreal is singing - they show Ezreal; Sett is singing - they show Sett; my man K'Sante is singing - they show freaking Aphelios. Just why? Why did you do it to my muscle mountain? So disappointing... Anyway I'm gonna buy everything connected to them

aphelios does talk tho, he drinks a special potion/poison that allows him to reach into the "other plane", use the lunar weapons and let him talk to his sister, but in exchange he loses his voice while under the effect of said potion/poison.
