- Several people asked me to do a show & tell video of my craft/wreath-making totes, so that's what we'll be doing today. This was really helpful, since I now know what I have and don't have for upcoming wreath-making projects! :)

it took me way too long to translate 'chenile stems' to what I know them as, pipe cleaners! i've never heard of them as chenile stems or fuzzy straws before ever! Im in AUS so its always been pipe cleaners to me! thanks for all your amazing work mary! lots of love!

You should make up a binder with samples of each ribbon. Colour/season/ holiday/ pattern. Then label which box they are in next to the sample. When its empty, remove sample.
It would make a great video too.
I absolutely love your whispering vids Mary. Ive been listening to you for months now and i must tell you, where many ASMR "artists" get lost with endless clicking sounds, hand gestures and repeating the same damn words over and over, YOU keep it simple and talk softly with your soothing country accent!! Just Thank You Mary!
Not to encourage more shopping.... but....you can tear the end of the rolls off and slide the ribbon off the core. It'll store much smaller if you gently twist tie the coils vs keeping all the cardboard spools 💙

I have heard wreath makers say to spray mesh or ribbon with glitter on it with hairspray to help seal it in. Not as much fallout. Love your soothing videos, especially wreaths or crafts.

Mary I have been terribly ill with a stomach thing but l,earned today I had food poisoning and was so dehrydated I spent 8 hours at hospital. Your videos have provided me great comfort as I couldnt sleep. Also my dear husband has been in Canada, In National Hockey League “Bubble” since July 18, for the Stanley Cup. .finally cup has been award so he can come home and help me. My son has a very pregnant wife and I did t want them around me until I found out what was wrong. I started making wreaths and I have found putting the glitter tulle inside the mesh before rolling it makes a pretty bundle

A list idea. If you have Alexa you could speak your list as you put the ribbon away. Making a list on Alexa is very handy, no typing required.

You should video call your children when you're at the craft store and their at home and ask them to check your craft stock and show you on the video call as something they just have to do for you like making their beds and doing their own laundry and doing homework

Have you tried spraying the sparkle mesh with hairspray? We got a burlap runner with glitter that sheds a lot, and my roommate suggested hairspray to keep the glitter in place.

Thank you for your video Mary. I totally understand the growing crafting supplies😅. Chenille stems here in Canada those are pipe cleaners. I'll call them Chenille stems to freak ppl out here😂. It's neat how things have different names in different places
Most people here call them pipe cleaners, too, but since they call them chenille stems on a lot of the packaging, I just started calling them that.

C&G ribbon feels so weird ! I’ve kept it for years in my art doll tote. Its electric pink & I love looking at the color but gosh do I hate touching it and never use it

I am a newer subscriber and I have been going back and watching your older videos, there is so many 😊 I am curious about how long you have been making wreaths? And what got you into making them?
What do you think would be a fair price per wreath if you were to sell them?
Given that I have to pay ebay and paypal fees (and income taxes on ebay earnings), and I spend anywhere from $30-60 for supplies for each wreath, I'd say at least $75 just to break even. Never mind the fact that it takes about four hours to make one.

Must be an American thing, in Ireland we only have Christmas wreaths. Do you guys do this kind of stuff for every holiday? And what is a Lama wreath for?
We mostly have them for Christmas but sometimes for other holidays just for fun. I’ve seen all different kinds of wreaths for decoration or signage. A llama wreath I suppose would be for someone who really likes llamas lol
I can only speak to the women in my family (east coast USA)... They will find a reason to make crafty things for any occasion! Llama-appreciation included. 🤭 🦙🦙🦙

Oof, I wish I could, but each of these wreaths takes about four hours to make, let alone the time it takes to edit/put together the video. December is probably going to be really hectic anyway, and I honestly don't think I'd have the time or energy to do a wreath video every week. :(
