@ 0:21 the classic FUNimation Productions Ltd. logo is very nostalgic for me of watching Dragon Ball Z on syndication and Cartoon Network's Toonami block back then in my childhood years.
Funimation is an Anerican Anime dubbing, licensing and distribution company based in Fort Worth, Texas. It was founded back in 1994 by Gen Fukunaga. Gen Fukunaga (5%) and Sony Pictures Television (95%) owns this company. Later it was defunct in 2022 and renamed Crunchyroll.
Ohhhh I had a great idea what it FUNimation and Toei Animation add the other Anime and some cartoons are like anime like Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Legend of Korra, RWBY, Steven Universe, Ōban Star-Races,Totally Spies Teen Titans (2003), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turles (2003), and Sonic X
Happy Birthday/Anniversary FUNimation... You along with your rivals Bang Zoom! and Viz Media were always THE BEST at distributing Anime... especially Dragon Ball Z. Now that you're Crunchyroll and no longer media giant we all know and grew up with, we'll always remember you as the POWERHOUSE for DBZ. For those that still have the love or hate for FUNimation or it becoming Crunchyroll... You can THANK or BLAME Sony for acquiring them from AT&T.

2022 Funimation died now its Crunchyroll
That’s not true as they coexist
It means that their company got shutdown from last year in 2022. Their voice cast members are still around and now they're the part of Crunchyroll.
@@gold_umbrella RIP to big l
I still use funimation still I know is shut down in 2022 but I still use it
I wish they kept the logos or make crunchyroll have their own. Idk it's something about logos that make it satisfying to watch.
Rest in peace, Funimation......
Thank you for bringing anime in the west more often. And giving One Piece a second chance after the 4Kids dub.
Had the urge to hear that "You should be watching" again. We all whispered it back in the day when it came up.
