Thanks for watching!
Maria, thank you for discussing the jeans fit adaptations you made and the guide you used. This will help me work out fit issues with pants.
Love all your sewing and knitting 💙
Thank you for some nice company! Your knitting is beautiful, as well as your sewing!
Loving your podcast, thank you for another episode. Isager Mohair and Rowan Kidsilk Haze are for now the softest Ive tried!
Thank you for your swatch explanation. I will try that!
So lovely to see all your beautiful makes, Maria. The brown colour on your sweater, gives it warmth, rather than black, a good choice and I love the clever neckline, either up or inverted. Also love your sweatshirt and the excellent colour green, which really suits you. You’ve inspired me to knit another Sophie shawl! X💕
Even here in Texas it’s cooling down. We never see the weather y’all can have. Thank goodness! You seem to be making good progress on replacing your lost clothes. Happy sewing and enjoy your mother’s visit.
Maria, thanks for the tip on the Mara thread for top stitching and sewing. I order a lot of supplies from Wawak and will have to put that thread on my list to try out. I have jeans/pants on my sewing list and hope to get to them this fall. I liked your fit adjustment comments and I def need to do some research on the things I need to incorporate in my pants. I just signed up to have a booth at my daughter’s school holiday market. I’m off to start sewing, stockings, aprons, scrunchies, bags and zippered pouches. Hopefully they all sell. Happy Knitting and sewing……your beautiful makes always inspire me.
From South Africa..su.mer on the way!
Hi Maria. Firstly I would like to say that whatever you seem to make or knit, your garments always turn out stunning! 👏. Your knitted striped sweater looks like it was knit by a machine ❤️. The jeans are just beautiful also with the over stitching you have done, makes them look like they were bought too! I think that your garments should have a runway of their own to show them all off. 😍 I guess that you did a tailoring course of some sort in your life, or went to technical college to attain all the knowledge that you have regarding the making of all your garments both sewing & knitting. Well, I just love seeing everything that you make, but would never be game enough to try as they are all far too intimidating for me, & I’m an old lady now who had three children & have sewn & knitted all my life 😂. You mentioned that you would perhaps do a tutorial of the skirt that you have made for your mother if enough people are interested & I for one would be most interested. I love your channel & have watched you for many years & thank you for taking the time to do these podcasts which are so interesting. Cheers for now from Western Australia, 💕❤️🤗😍🥰
Love your videos // Eva from Sweden
Love the 2 knitting
Hope you get some yarn that will be a beauty
Regarding sensitivity, I think "highland" as a wool descriptive can be deceptive - I've noticed that it's now often used for South American wool from higher altitudes, whereas previously it tended to refer to the Scottish Highlands, and I think that wool is going to be more rustic than the breeds used elsewhere - and of course the trend is towards more softness.
Although I don't sew much, your tip on the adjustments document for jeans is brilliant!
As far as Isager goes, Helle from Danish Musings pronounces the "g" like a "y", which other Danes also seem to do?! But here in German-speaking countries, people tend to pronounce it as it looks to us...
