What happened was they were all putting word out that 2Pac wanted to know who shot him, Jimmy Henchman who set up the shooting contacted Stretch and told him "If 2Pac wants a war, he'd better get his money first". Stretch then gave 2Pac this information, which made him suspicious because why would someone who had him shot just openly discuss it with people seeking to find them. Then there was an issue where Stretch had no ID/Passport and was therefore unable to visit 2Pac in jail which again made 2Pac suspicious of him.
