His real name is Yingxing, but he doesn’t remember it. He calls himself Blade because he’s a weapon that will kill Dan Heng (and prob Jingliu too)
At the very beginning of the luofu arc when kafka shows up on the express as a hologram she tells us her companion ”blade” is currently captive on the luofu

@@manel999 Selling ships, hoyo is perhaps following the trend of taking popular characters and giving them looks options, to please the different sides of the fandom. And in the end they can either choose the most popular or not confirm and merely leave it open. They will probably dedicate hints of other ships involving Blade and Kafka with other characters, alternatives would be Blade and Dan Heng or kafka and himeko, or even new characters. Let's say that the "noise" that these ships have is and will be enough for Hoyo to continue giving ideas to nourish its existence.
Maybe it's unpleasant, but it's the most plausible explanation. Let's also say, it is a profitable mode.

As if Hoyo didn't DELIBERATELY put hints pointing towards BOTH ships being canonical/extremely plausible, without revealing where the actual truth stands.
Ship whoever you want, but don't attack other people just because they see matters differently than you. Remember, your ship may have confirmed background and lore endorsing it, but the other has it too and if you ignore straight facts just to feel superior or simply because you don't like them, then you are an hypocrite.
let's just appreciate how deep and touching Blade/Yingxing's lore is.
