    I’m doing the exact same thing, fabricating my own parts. Weld through prime vaporize at 1200 degrees, a weld is 2600 degrees. They didn’t prime it at the factory.

    There's a company out there now that makes replacement parts for this for you ain't got to form this yourself I did enjoy the video and it will help me out of great deal cuz I'm going to do that on my car but I probably won't put all that bracing up there

    Good fabrication but it would of been better if you had used some weld-thru primer to protect all of the weld joints. I am not sure I would have tried to tackle that, but I suppose if you take your time, as you have shown, you can get good results.

      I was definitely considering using weld-thru primer but was worried of the possibility that rust could still form between the joint so I opted to use a tube extension and applied a healthy bead of seam sealer where the top and bottom meet.
