    I absolutely love this keyboard. I have the Corsair RGB large mousepad and what I did was use a exacto knife and cut a tiny 1/4 inch slit in it right under where the cord comes out of the keyboard. I then drilled a hole large enough to fit the cord through the top of the desk. Now that huge cord comes out of the keyboard directly down through the mousepad, through the desk top and over to the back of my PC. The material used in the mousepad basically seals back on itself leaving a clean wrap around the cord. When walking in my computer room you see nothing but the keyboard, cordless. it is still easily moved a foot to the left or right if needed. Looks sick.

    Wowza, that's expensive. I currently use a Roccat Vulcan AIMO full size keyboard and I like it pretty well. I do like the open keycap design. As someone whose setup has to function for both work and play, a numpad is required, and it feels like SFF keyboards get all the love. So I appreciate Roccat throwing us full size users a bone. Now can we work on that price?

      Me too. I simply cannot live without a numpad. It is a MUST for users like me.

    Thanks for the review. I have the old TKL Pro and it's an amazing keyboard. Little to no wiggle. Great stabilizers on large keys. No metallic sounds when you press the keys. The only issue I have with it is the same as with the new one and it's the ABS keycaps (and the paint started wearing off a little bit on the edge). But to their defense, most mainstream keyboard manufacturers use ABS. Even the very popular APEX Pro by Steelseries which is also over $200 uses ABS keycaps. I actually wouldn't mind replacing them, but I like the look of the low-profile Roccat keycaps and replacing them with regular shaped keycaps would take away a lot from the overall nice design and look of the keyboard. I wish Roccat sold PBT keycaps as replacement at least or give us the option to buy a PBT version even if it cost more.

      Pretty sure the SteelSeries Prismcaps could be used on this one which are PBT. If I end up getting this board, which I'm likely to do, I will pair it with those keycaps if they are compatible.

    Disappointing they cheaped out with the keycaps again. I don't think there's actual PBT replacement in that thin key cap shape. Putting regular caps on it will affect how quickly it bottoms out and mask more of the RBG. This is the main reason why I didn't get their TKL version.

      I can literally just clean my board like a regular human and it's literally fine... The key caps literally don't bother me these feel good. Look good. My Vulcan tkl is 6 months or so old and no shine anywhere. Wipe your shit down and don't eat and play it

      it's because roccat is a global company with many different keyboard layouts and legends, pbt would make this keyboard astronomically expensive

    Hey! Can you tell me if I can set the keyboard lightning that the lights will go on if I press a key? Like it’s not glowing when I do nothing and it glows like 1-2 seconds if I press a key?

    You sold me on the CPU/GPU lighting. I've gotten myself a Roccat mouse because I've been tired of logitech, razer, corsair whatever gaming mouse you wanna name breaking in 1 way or another early in it's life (1year+). The mouse is sturdy and I reckon it's because it's actually made in Germany. So Roccat is my new go to brand outside things like Audio because gaming headsets give -20 experience.

    What do you use to connect all the devices? I have the syn max air, Kone Air, Sense Aimo, and im getting the Vulcan II Max. I use these all for my work laptop, but I am having trouble getting them all to function properly since there is not enough plugs. Do you have a recommended device to use all of these?

    Is it possible to make the dual LEDs for CPU GPU RAM buttons monitor temperature instead of usage? On the back of the box it says "Select onboard profiles, instant messages, CPU and GPU temperature monitor and more." But I don't see a way to make the LEDs monitor temperature instead of usage.

      So far I haven’t found a way to make it work either but I hope it gets added with a future update. It would be a lot more useful than utilization for me

      @@GadgetryTech I'm sure it wouldn't take a lot to implement either, thanks for the reviews, I just ordered this keyboard and the Syn Max Air's after finding your channel, was stuck on either those or shelling out the extra $100 for the Arctis Nova Pro's. Was leaning towards the Arctis but then I saw that they updated swarm for the EQ's on the Max Air and decided to give it a try. Keep it up! you got a sub from me

    This keyboard sounds so hollow and rattly. Why you’d buy this keyboard in a world of affordable entry custom mechanicals I’ll never understand

    • @tywilson3689
      @tywilson3689 ปีที่แล้ว

      he pretty much went over why somebody would consider this. mainly it's the RGB and syncing the RGB if you have a Roccat mouse or other peripherals
